Hey everyone.

I'm sure some sort of demographics survey has been done in the past but I haven't seen one since I've been here and I'm curious. I've tried to keep it pretty basic. I know people are touchy about their privacy, and I know some aren't cool with being asked about special abilities/skills/powers/whatever, so obviously skip questions if you want to, no hard feelings. I'd rather just get name/age/planet than nothing at all, you know? Not like I'm going to hunt you down and force you to fill it out. But if you're willing to be more complete that'd be awesome and if there's something you think is important that I didn't include a field for, let me know.

Maybe there's a pattern here somewhere, maybe there's not, but at the very least it might be interesting or provide some useful data for department recruitment or something. Maybe you'll find some friends, whatever.

Not joking, but only one of my friends has one. The rest of us have various sorts of high-tech suits but no capes. Or most of us do, anyway. One of us just wears a denim jacket because somehow these days that's more mysterious than a mask.

What does 'high-tech' entail, if I can ask? & if you think someone whose last exciting brush with nonmagical technology was when his mum bought a microwave oven will understand.

Yeah, she's so incredibly badass she can kind of just wear whatever and pull it off.

Nothing very exciting, actually, at least for mine and most of them. It's basically just engineered to be more comfortable than anything that close to spandex should be, and also to have special resistance to blades. It won't stop a bullet or an arrow unless it's a graze anyway, but it takes some real effort to get a knife through it. A friend of mine who's a shapeshifter has one that involves some sort of nanofiber technology that basically expands or contracts as his body does.

Not that I'm really into getting stabbed, just knife fights are easier to handle than most of what we get into.
