Hey everyone.

I'm sure some sort of demographics survey has been done in the past but I haven't seen one since I've been here and I'm curious. I've tried to keep it pretty basic. I know people are touchy about their privacy, and I know some aren't cool with being asked about special abilities/skills/powers/whatever, so obviously skip questions if you want to, no hard feelings. I'd rather just get name/age/planet than nothing at all, you know? Not like I'm going to hunt you down and force you to fill it out. But if you're willing to be more complete that'd be awesome and if there's something you think is important that I didn't include a field for, let me know.

Maybe there's a pattern here somewhere, maybe there's not, but at the very least it might be interesting or provide some useful data for department recruitment or something. Maybe you'll find some friends, whatever.

He's pretty memorable. Memorably pretty. The one here is younger than the one I knew at home, but I still have a feeling he'd frown on our very pragmatic desperation attempt at shuttle-acquisition.

It isn't really, thanks for answering the rest. It must be a relief to know your son's safe with her. [ Super tactful and necessary comments that won't involve feet in mouths at all: a Kate Bishop specialty. ]

Just Emma and Hook, really. Emma's been a friend since Arima a few months ago, and she and Hook and I were on a recon team together. [ No need to mention the time she yelled at Gold on the network, right? ]

Where is Spira? I don't think I've heard of it. Working for Stark would be interesting. I guess if you're a techy person it's like the dream job, right?

It definitely calls for a quest. I mean, he does have a pretty good point about Christmas needing to happen at the right moment, but over a year is much too long. He's totally a Christmas-tease. There should be some sort of price to pay.

Mayfield, the last place I was, was a bit like this in that it would bring people in from all sorts of different places.

[ Hook's only managed to use the private function correctly once so far, so this is Emma's fault, just fyi. There's a slightly muffled curse before he hangs up, though the brief clatter that accompanies the feed cutting makes it fairly clear he didn't do it by pressing any buttons. More likely options are the floor or the wall. ]

It can be a challenge trying to balance the interests on the planet. Sometimes different groups have different desires. Or needs. But they're a good people. They're worth it.

It's not like it worked out anyway. Maybe we'd have been better off keeping the weapons.

I don't know how to answer that exactly.

I learn to use my powers for good. We try to focus on control, too, in one-on-one training sessions. But there's no hope for me. I got some sorta wall up, I guess.

But that's not even what being an X-Man is about. It's about helping people. Helping kids who are scared of their own shadows. About trying to tell them to be proud of themselves, no matter what their mutation is. At least, that's what it is, when I'm from.

Yeah. I kept a couple knives but stockpiling would've been a better idea I guess. Still worked out better than my other plan, if that makes you feel any better.
