I read the FAQ and stuff...It's gonna take a while to get used to things - but I guess I'm pretty adaptable. Waking up in blue goo is pretty surreal. Do you ever get used to it?

This was only my second jump, but I can safely say that no, it doesn't get any easier. I'm pretty sure the human body isn't meant to go into stasis unprepared the way we're forced to here. ... Not that I have any proof of that, it's really just an assumption. Based on the fact that everyone feels kind of sick after. But, right. No, I don't think so.

"Surreal" is one way of describing it, I guess. I think some people might prefer "alarming", though.

Not to be too pessimistic, but I'd be impressed if you ever got used to this cycle if you're not already familiar with these kind of surroundings. I take it you're not?

Hardly. Would you want to get used to it, though? I'd hate to think of staying here long enough that it became mundane.
