She's wearing a plaid mens shirt that she hasn't worn out in public before, watching a grasshopper that has landed on one of the leather wristbands she got in her locker this past jump. Unlike her previous network experience this month, she looks more subdued; she's been doing a lot of thinking lately. ]

Nobody knows for sure where people go when they disappear from here, do they? I mean, people say "home", but we don't... know.

[ She turns her wrist, watching the grasshopper. ] And we don't know what the fuck anyone's up to without us, either.

[ The insect hops away, out of sight, and Jaye follows it with her eyes for a moment before looking back at her network device. ] ... Right, well. [ She shakes her head, smiling -- anyone who knows her well enough or who is particularly good at reading expressions should be able to tell it's forced. ] I've got some fun questions now. Favorite animal back home and why? Animal you'd consider the most dangerous and why? [ Yes that is somehow a fun question. Danger is fun, right guys? ... Right? ] All you people who aren't from Earth, you should tell me about the animals you guys have. It'd be interesting to hear about the differences.

time stops while we're here. I've gone home before, during a jump. and somehow experienced months of memories while I was under. it doesn't make any sense to me, but it's true. which I know isn't a huge help, but that's what happened to me.

[ She knows this face, knows this voice -- she even knows what she smells like, though it's not like she could follow his scent like this. Instinct makes her want to bristle, makes her want to show her teeth and lash out, but she forces it down -- she bats at an insect flying in front of her face instead, hoping the bit of tension in her shoulders will be passed on as belonging to her mood at the beginning of the post. ]

Erm. Im not from any sort of exciting and invigorating universe or planet in my personal opinion but i did have quite my share of beasties that inhabited where i came from.
There were all really friggen violent!!! Im not sure if i could actually put my finger on which ones were the most dangerous. From the fucking huge sea goats that came from the bottom of the ocean floor to the flying fairy bulls... i dont even know which one i would consider my favorite!!
They were all terrifying and wanted to eat me! EVEN THE FAIRY BULLS. I NEVER FELL FOR THEIR RIDICULOUS ADORABLE CHARM NO MATTER HOW DAGGUM CUTE THEY TRIED TO PERCEIVE THEMSELVES!!!!

It was all really EXCITING considering i had to watch my step anytime i left my room globe. Haha!

[ she thinks of santana and brittany. the last thing she'd want is for something worse to happen to them - worse than this place. trying not to really think about it makes things ...somewhat easier. but where would they go if they didn't? somewhere on the ship? or... no, don't think about it. ]

Um, I guess my favourite animal would be a dog? It's not very original but... [ she shrugs and then ponders the next question. ] I remember reading hippos are one of the world's deadliest animals.

It doesn't have to be original. Why a dog? [ Her lips quirk up next though. ] Yeah, they are. A lot of people don't realize it, but you don't want to fuck with hippos.

[Sarina seems a little distracted as she first answers the video, as her eyes tried to find the grasshopper that was formerly on the woman's arm; it was similar to a praying mantis, which reminded her of a particular former unitmate who had a penchant for that animal.]

Almost all animals are dangerous, in a way -- heeheehee -- it's hard to say which is the most deadly.

But as far as my favorite... I guess that would have to be the octopus -- haha -- or at least that's what I'm the most familiar with.

[Strangely, she actually both hated and respected that particular animal, but also knew that it would forever be the animal associated with her.]

[ She has to know the strengths and weaknesses of each animal, has to be able to use them. Jaye typically goes for brawn, the bear her go-to form when threatened, but she's aware that bigger isn't always better. ]

The octopus, huh? They're smart creatures.

[ There's a shake of her head. ] Nah, not the grasshopper. That one just decided I'd be a good chair.

Well, if you count sentient ones, I'd say humans. Otherwise, I'm rather indifferent. I think I would get bored with a companion with whom I couldn't have any conversation, I'm afraid. Also, I'm afraid I'm not fond of seagulls. They tend to take me as their personal, well, bathroom. And placoderms. I fought a placoderm once. I didn't like it. [Yes, he means paleozoic placoderms.]
