[He's hardly been on the Tranquility (again) for a few weeks and he's feeling exactly the same.]

I recommend the suggestions given by others, though--I could understand if reading or cooking grow a bit stale after a while. If I can find the necessary implements I'm thinking of crochet and knitting and carving as well. Oh! And sewing, provided there's enough fabric and thread.

I do not think that reading will ever bore me. The trouble is, I have read most of the books already. It is hard to come by new ones.

My brother Carver used to do this dance that was the antidote for any and everything that went wrong.

[ sadly, he's dead. ] I could try it, but I think I lack his sense of flair.
