I've never heard of those. How can one exercise breathing??

[In spite of his discomfort with the topic, he gives a small smile; her confusion is quite endearing.]

It is not exercising breathing so much as using exercises which involve breathing. When one takes long breaths in through one's nose and lets them out through one's mouth, it can often soothe frazzled nerves, helping one find sleep if it is tension which stands in the way.

Do you think I can learn - how to do that? I was never taught.
