☩ 015. VIDEO.

This day has found me sad.

[ there is not much of an introduction today. Lucrezia Borgia, wrapped in a blanket in her bed, pale fingers flipping through a book which lies open in her lap. ]

What can be done to expel such?

O-Oh, I'm explaining them all wrong. They are like...boulders. Enormous boulders with fins and eyes and they sing.

[He beams at her, starting to gather up the books.] Well, I am always happy to share what I find.

I don't know. They sing their own songs.

[Armin is very solemn, setting down the pile of books in favor of finding a data pad, because books can't speak, but the pads can.]

It sounds like a lot of squeaking and odd chirping, but...but they sing much longer than they need to, so it isn't just to communicate. They sing to sing. [Here we go, proper sound clip for Lucrezia.]

What are these "mermaids"? I have not found any books that speak of them.

[A loooong pause goes here.]

Are they...real, though?

I suppose this is true. Much of the ocean remains unexplored, I hear. Who knows what could lurk in it's depths?
