Go easier on Edgeworth. He's a kid, and he means well-- and okay, sometimes he's so sure of himself you want to shake him, but he really does mean well.

How about something like, "you're right, strange nosy lady-- I should probably be nicer to the kid, even if he was an active participant in the fight."

But instead of strange nosy lady, go with Jenna.

Edgeworth is a great kid, but he's-- let's call him stubborn and a little aggressive. Like I said, he does mean well.
