[ she doesn't trusts herself with saying this out-loud so she sticks to text. However, it doesn't go quite so smoothly ]

This is Rapunzel.

I just wanted to tell you that

Or actually I wanted to offer

if you know someone who needs to be healed because of pirates or or

anything else!

You can ask me and I promise I will heal them.

Just not in front of a crowd.

It heals completely! or I think it heals completely - my mother was cut once and I healed her in one two three!

Do you need help?

[It would not work, not for Bran. He looks down at his legs for a moment, but not sadly. He has his robotic legs, he needs little else.]

My brother was hurt, when the pirates attacked us. He is in the medical bay-- [The Houses of Healing was what Alayne called them, when they were first arrived here, but Bran has learned so much since then.] I only wondered if you could help him.

[Not knowing, of course, that Arya has asked for the same.]

Of course!

[ she bites her lip, smiles. ]

I can help your brother. I am going to medbay, how will I recognize him?

He looks a little like me--but he is much older. He has a beard, and his hair curls--and he will have his direwolf with him. Grey Wind. That will be the surest way to recognize him.

His name is Robb Stark. If you ask, someone will show you to him, I am sure of it. [A pause; he remembers his manners in a hurry:] I'm called Bran Stark. And I thank you for your help, my lady. My house will be in your debt if you can help my brother.

A direwolf? Robb has a direwolf?

[ so does Cat! so Cat does know him since Rapunzel is rather certain direwolves are a big clue!! ]

I already heard of him! and his injury! from Cat. Do you know her?

You know Cat?

[It's not meant to sound as if he doesn't believe her--but Bran can scarcely imagine Arya and this lady, together. In fact, he starts to smile a little despite himself.]

Robb has a direwolf--and I do too, and our brother Jon. And Cat. Did she really ask you to help Robb?

I do! She did! haha!

[ she's mostly happy to know someone else who knows Cat. ]

She's my friend, Cat.

She's my friend too.

[Though she would say that she isn't--but that complicates things. His smile widens a little. She asked for Robb to be helped. A girl who did not care about them would not do that.]

But I am glad that she has a friend like you, too. And glad that she asked for help for Robb. So you have seen Nymeria?

She is! Well that's - wonderful! I wasn't sure if she has many friends on the ship and even though I never had many friends before, I know it's important.

[ she nods, biggest smile ever but then - ]

I don't think I've met Nymeria yet, is she your friend, too? Yours and Cat's?

Nymeria is a friend of a sort. She is a direwolf that walks with Cat.

[He frowns a little, troubled that a friend of Arya's would not have met Nymeria. If Arya is keeping away from her direwolf, she might meet some danger.]

I have a direwolf too--Summer. I would call him a friend as well. If you meet him, you can be his friend, and then your count will have increased. [It isn't pity that he feels for her, not exactly--but he is sorry that she did not have many friends.]

so that's her name! Nymeria! Cat wouldn't tell me her name at all.

[ she knew the direwolf has a name, she just knew it. ]

Summer! That's one of my favorite seasons and I'd love to be his friends, if that's alright.

Now you can surprise them both and call her by name.

[He wonders if he should tell Rapunzel that Arya--Cat--might punch her... but if she is friends with Arya, then she must be heartier than she looks. She maybe even already know about the punching.]

And Summer would like to be your friend, I am sure. A friend of Cat's is friend to us, too. [Mostly. Arya does have some strange friends, but Rapunzel seems likable.] Do you visit the gardens very often?

I do! Um! Every day, actually. I thin they're really not that scary. Unlike everything else - haha.

so um. yes. I do!

Summer and I are there nearly every day as well. We will look for you, so you can meet Summer. What do you do there every day?

I um. run, dance, roll around haha.

I never left my tower before so this is wonderful. It's new.

[girls are weird...]

You were locked in a tower?

Not really locked, I simply never left. Because - my mother said it was very dangerous for someone with my gift. Um, the healing thing? that thing.

But a healer is well met, wherever they go. The people of the villages are always happy to see maesters and healers--

[Though there have been few that walk the roads since the war began. But he does not say that. Perhaps there is something of her world that he does not understand.]

Perhaps she was confused. Did she name the danger?

Rhinos, cannibals, poison ivy - there were many. Monsters with fangs, too!

[Oh. He sucks at the inside of his cheek, and nods, both knowingly and dismissively.]

She only wanted to frighten you. Those are not true dangers, they are like dangers from stories. [Well, maybe some of them are.] What is a rhino?

Oh no, she wouldn't. she said bad men had tried to use my gift for their own benefits before and it is safer for me inside. She wouldn't lie, she's my mother -

[ and rhinos well. ]

it's a big, angry animal!

I don't mean that she's lying. I mean--

[But he stops himself. He had disobeyed his own mother many times, and now he will never see her again. It would have made her happy if he had minded her. Perhaps he should have been more like Rapunzel. Perhaps he should have known.]

Aren't you sad, in the tower? You miss so many things if you are always indoors.

Sad? No, no I was never - there's plenty to do, really! I have paintings and books and cleaning and baking cookies and.

[ she stops herself mid rambling, sighs. ]

Sometimes it's a bit sad.

[He nods--though now he is beginning to think that he has done her an unkindess, to remind her of this sadness.]

But then it is all the better that you are here, isn't it? You can see a great many things. And there are dangers aboard this ship, but there are many people to help you and protect you, too.
