As I have been assigned a position on the team of xenobiologists here, part of my duties includes taking a sample from each and every being on this ship. I assume it is strictly for record purposes, and such information may aid the medical staff if something unfortunate should happen.

At the earliest convenience, everyone on board will come to the medical bay for a blood sample and a few questions. Each session should be brief; we wouldn't want to keep you from your other preoccupations.

Problem is, I don't like needles. Yeah, worst mun for the job, I know. So all of Alexander's work is going to be off-screen, but if you could put an ooc note in this post stating what he might have found out (Name, original species, special abilities, blood type/colour, pain/fear level in regards to needles or creepy old men in general, and anything else of interest), that would be fantastic!

You don't have the authority to demand anything of the sort. Moreover, no one has any obligation to do as you say, and every right to refuse if they chose not to consent to medical examination. Not to mention no one should even be requested to do so until there's a secure database in place to keep our medical records confidential.

If you are worried that Alexander is just taking blood for the fun of it, that... is... a thing that someone might be concerned about after being kidnapped onto a ship, actually, yes. That is a reasonable concern.

Unfortunately, unless you can gather samples from all of the blood colors presently represented from my race, the research will be incomplete.

Um, possibly that is true, but also, they will need to start collecting, in order to have the samples, so, uh...if it is okay, would you do that?

Oh. I, uh, don't know...if this matters a lot to you, uh, some of my friends care a lot more about the hemospectrum than others, but uh, humans all have the same color blood, and there are other aliens here also, so...it, uh, that is not really something they are thinking about. Um. If you have medical knowledge for troll things, that would probably be good for the ship to know. I, uh, really only know about animal biology, and not as much about troll biology, though I will do what I can, to help explain to them.
