Objects of equal size and mass are easier to juggle than varied shapes and weights. [100% serious, look you've got to do something in between attempting to take over the universe and waiting for the Doctor to come and foil your plans] There are different patterns of motions required for odd numbers of balls versus even numbers greater than four.

I travelled with a circus for a brief period of time, several lifetimes ago.
