Actually, I do as well. Sort of.

I'd started out thinking he might be trying to help us. Possibly. Since apparently someone who could read minds said the ship was laughing at everything we've been doing.

But that's a little typical too.

It sounds more to me as if he's simply watching the show. I suppose it's just a case of which stereotype one prefers.

That's the problem. There's something missing. Something important. Something that's probably been dangling right in front of us the whole time.
