So, I've been thinking about the whole "space hell" theme this place has going on, and I came to the realization that not everything that happens here is going to be all rainbows and butterflies, obviously.

I mean, this ship is looking more horror sci-fi and less action adventure sci-fi every day. And I kind of like being alive and well, as surprising as that might sound.

All I'm saying is, sometimes it's tough to infer what you're trying to say even from context clues, when you go really heavy on the slang.

What's a cat supposed to do? Haven't heard squat from barbering others. Dunno if it's 'slang' or not.

First of all, what do you mean by 'barbering'?

Talking. Y'know, like when you get your hair cut or shaved. Barbers talk a lot.

Basically, whenever you use a word that's a metaphor for something else, chances are someone here won't understand you.

I'm not saying you need to stop using slang, I'm just saying you might want to be aware of that.
