[ There's a very long stretch of silence - closing in on about eight minutes, actually - after Mason first sets up the filter. He's not entirely sure he wants to go through with this but he knows that there's a very high chance of him getting out and hurting someone. Maybe if he warns people - the right people - he'll be able to try to prevent it from happening. Not that he's expecting anyone to risk their life in order to keep him locked up someplace, but they'll be aware of it and, if absolutely necessary, could figure out some way to put him down before he does any sort of damage. ]

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I'm shifting later today. [ He only sounds mildly uncomfortable with talking about this, which is a hell of an accomplishment considering how he feels completely exposed right now. ] Figured it might be a good idea to start letting you guys know in case something happens. I'll be taking the necessary precautions, but everyone knows how much this place likes to fuck with people.

I wasn't wanting to add more to the oxygen garden if I could help it. We get too much stuff in there, we run the risk of stuff getting messed up. [ And now that Klaus is on board, Mason's not entirely sure he wants to leave something this important in a public area. Not that he particularly trusts other passengers more than Klaus, but Klaus would probably know what it is just by the look of it. ]

Invent a miniature sun, place near plant roughly twelve hours per day. Seriously though, unless we're talking aloe I wouldn't hold out hopes for a long lifespan in the black depths of space. [ He had an aloe plant that survived for eight months with two watering sessions and no sun, swear to god. ]

It's not aloe, but thanks for that tip. [ Who even grows aloe, anyways? ] I wonder if there's any spare heat lamps around here.
