He's sitting on the bed and he has the comm resting in his hands on his lap, it's facing him -- even if it's a little off center. His fingers run over the buttons on the device and he clears his throat, ready to speak at the indication that the video is recording.

And yet, the video is upside down. ]

Just a friendly reminder to whoever is in charge that, if you are in fact going to abduct someone from their work and home into outer space -- you might want to reconsider picking a blind man. For one, stars? Completely wasted on me.

[ A slight quirk of his lips up at that. ]

And to... any friendly listeners out there, a brief rundown of this place from someone who isn't a native would be exceptional. I'm sure there's a welcome sign around here but, well, [ He tilts his head just a bit and shrugs lightly. ]

Then that is your problem and I pity you.

[ He usually wouldn't say something so harsh and so directly to a person, but this is him attempting to "speak her language" in a way. It leaves a bad taste in his mouth but that's something that comes with this sort of thing. ]

You do not need to. [ And it is, in Rosella's own way, an attempt to be reassuring. ] You may spend your energy on more relevant activities. I have no need for pity and you should not give it.

To clarify, I am not factoring in your emotional limitations and physical handicap. These are obvious faults that you do not view in the same manner, and so I must assess you on the basis that these are given components of your person. [ A pause. ]

From what I can see, you are physically capable, but I do not know how fast your reaction times are. You appear mentally sound, and information does not need sight to be found or processed. You also possess pleasing bone structure, so I do not doubt you are capable of being charismatic or sexually alluring. Does this suffice?
