[ Rough times with Elizabeth Shaw, it seems. Charlie is nothing but an echo and an ugly smear in her head. An illusion? It's an awful tease at her emotions, leading her back to square one and whether sanity is an existing concept.

She's almost tempted to make her own message, asking if her apparent reality is true, but it's something like THIS that makes the Tranquility so remarkable. She sets aside her private grief, caressing the bit of excitement for this discovery.

No need to be burdened with her worries—good Lord, it's a dinosaur. ]

I believe that sums up this entire situation quite nicely, and not just the dinosaur.
