Salutations! I have a few matters to address, but I'll cut to the chase here and smoothly segway into the questions I have queued in my noggin for some time now.
I am curious, if a qualify for a position, how one fellow goes about becoming a part of the gunnery team. I recall an anonymous gent mentioning it to me and I'm curious in my wits. Are there any persons present who have experienced this before? Before that question is properly answered, I also request further information on this matter such as the commitment level along with the work load and any benefits that are obtainable at this time for assisting the ship in such a way.

The other question I have is I am wondering what date it is and if by chance I missed it somewhere when I first arrived here. It's likely; I've still yet to do a complete exploring of my new environment. In any case, do people go on holiday or recognize certain events from their world on the proper day or just when they are feeling nostalgic?
Last I remember, my 16th birthday was coming up faster than a jack rabbit on a hot date in summer, and I was just wondering when I would have the bliss of identifying myself as a sweet sixteen.
Actually, last I looked it was April of 2012, so it's actually a good while from that date, but I want to be readily prepared.

In addition, I'm shitting my knickers here from excitement. Sixteen is a pretty big fuss!

I am still in dire need of a handkerchief. An actual one, and not something severed from a table cloth, and another holster of some kind to equip both of my babies in.

Technically though and specifically where i am from i guess it wouldnt really matter anywhoodles. I sort of get to make the rules! But say i went to the main land i ought to express that it would definitely mean the same as it is in your world.

I see! I think birthdays are special, no matter what, but especially if you have people to share them with. Whether yours has passed or not, there definitely should be some kind of celebration. Not that there needs to be a reason for cake, music, and dancing! 〜(^∇^〜） （〜^∇^)〜

I've never had that sort of celebration before. Maybe some music and dancing by myself, but ive never had a birthday cake before.

[He's been there, dude. A good chunk of his time at the orphanage, as well as when he was living with the people who dared consider themselves his adoptive "parents," he never really had any celebrations for his birthday. That's why he finds them so special, honestly! Once on his own, and with his dance troupe, he made sure to actually do something fun on that great day.]

All the more reason to finally do something! I'd be happy to celebrate with you, Jake. \o/

Have you anything else for protection??? Special abilities... anything???
Id assist and lend you one of my pistols but, erm. Theyre really precious to me.
I have some utensils i managed to bag from the outpost such as a butchers knife though.

Ah. I'm just a human, but um. . . I'm acrobatic and quick on my feet, when something like that is necessary. I have a knife, too, which I suppose I'm decent enough with. I can hold my own well enough, if it's something like a physical fight.

Just watch who you strife and scrum with. Some people here have some really badass abilities ive gathered.

I find that highly attractive however.
