[ It's taken her a while, but her meetings with people have finally made her curious enough to ask. ]

I was wondering how many people here are from or familiar with Thedas.

[ And for those that are... ] And where you might be from within it.

Also. Um. Lady Galadriel, it's late, but I wanted to thank you for your suggestion. The garden was... a good place for him.

Obviously we have a few unexpected guests with us now but there's actually one more everyone should know about. Some of you may be familiar with the name Felix Laurens. Or the face, he looks like this (and really loves having his picture taken):

For those who don't know he was captain of the Scylla, a pirate ship that tried to raid the TQ during jump cycle 17. I'm not going to recount his whole history, you can find more info here. To sum up: as far as we knew, Ward murdered him along with his captive crew during that jump. You may have seen him on the network since then anyway. We don't really know how or why, but he in some fashion survived, trapped. A friend and I finally found him, and he's been in quarantine in Medical for the last couple months.

We've let him out now. He's surly and weird but we don't believe he's an immediate danger to anyone. He hasn't behaved violently with us at all, he just wanted to get out of that place and have access to a gravity couch. So if you see him around or at the jump, a few suggestions:
  • Don't freak out, and please don't attack him

  • If you see him standing outside a normal door like a kitchen or library or something, please let him in. He doesn't have nanites, so he can't actually open any doors in this place himself.

  • If anyone has any ideas how to get him nanites, please let me know that also.

  • Do keep an eye on him and do be on your guard. He may not have any personal desire to harm us, but he is susceptible to the same types of compulsion that we all are, that make us do things we would never otherwise.

  • If he does or says something strange, or goes somewhere he shouldn't be, let me or Charles Xavier or Dr. Gallo know asap.

  • If there's a problem, also let us know and we will handle it.

  • If Ward or Resnik show up, let us know that, too. We think they'd have come by now if they really wanted to finish the job that badly, but who knows.
  • There isn't much about this that I can really explain, but if you have questions this is the place for them.

ALSO: if anyone has a spare comm, let me know? I know there were a few around somewhere at some point.

    Hello, fellow... passengers.

I have what should hopefully be a simple request. I am a new arrival looking for somewhere comfortable to reside. Is there any place on this ship that is colder--much colder--than the common rooms provided? Or, similarly, is there any way to lower the temperature of said rooms?

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
