✘ Round 1 | [Text]
Hello, fellow... passengers.
I have what should hopefully be a simple request. I am a new arrival looking for somewhere comfortable to reside. Is there any place on this ship that is colder--much colder--than the common rooms provided? Or, similarly, is there any way to lower the temperature of said rooms?
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

There is a way you can control the temp in your room. I think it can be either manual or voice command.

The only other thing I would suggest maybe is trying the holodecks. You can adjust the temp in there along with the environment controls.
[It occurs to Murphy then that he's not even in the least fazed by the fact that someone is asking if it's possible to turn their living quarters into an icebox. Goddammit, he's been here way too long.]

meaning you can probably bump your room down to chill levels using the thermostat on the wall
just don't expect to drop it below what's considered habitable temperatures b/c there's an engineering controlled override that prevents that for reasons that are very technical and and specific and i don't feel like typing them
text;
If someone...theoretically wanted temperatures so cold that they would be considered "inhabitable", where would one go? [It's at least nice to know that he can keep things cool should he need to, but he'd like to do his best to find something a little closer to home first.]

You know, space is pretty cold. As a general rule. Or you could climb into a freezer in the kitchens.
Wait, how big are you? You'd have to be kinda small to fit in a freezer.

Ultimately the alien's difficulty in trusting wins out, but it had not been an easy battle.]
I will still... have to decline, I am afraid, but I would not mind meeting this individual.
