[Hello, Tranquility. Have a Combeferre who is obviously fascinated by something or other, by the look of intense concentration on his face as he peers out at the camera. And he’s even managing to focus on his face and not his eyebrows, so there is some progress there at least. And when he begins speaking, well, it’s obvious that SOMETHING has happened.]

Well. Tranquility. It appears that there is more on board here than we would have first imagined. The media libraries in particular, when one really attempts to delve into the ship itself, can be more useful than we’ve seen so far. I’ve come across [He snooped across, let’s be honest.]

A device which projects to my communicator and has allowed me to download

this

[Combeferre is looking into the screen expectantly again, leaning forward a little as he does this.]

I...think this has something to do with the structure of the ship perhaps? A building plan? A schematic perhaps, for engineering? There should be some way for me to send everyone a copy if someone could be of assistance in terms of the programing needed to do that? I am not quite sure WHAT I’ve found here but I would welcome any help in figuring this out.

[text later:

Edit:

With the help of the Communications department, the information should be available to all passengers who would like to have a look.

[ The flight crew is noisier than usual, a buzz of activity and excitement that is usually more toned down when Carolyn makes these posts. Part of the problem is that she's in the thick of it, where usually she'd move away; the other part is the shining white metal visible outside of the windows. ]

We docked somewhere.

[ Carolyn almost sounds like she can't believe it; in the background, it looks like someone practically has their nose pressed to the window to verify that they are, indeed, docked somewhere. ]

About ten minutes ago, judging by the noise we heard. It's gone now, which means-

[ There's a pause as someone says something, indistinct, but Carolyn's eyes widen a fraction. ]

One of the halls opened up. About 100 meters down from the shuttle bay -- we're definitely docked. Airlocks on both sides are open. [ She grimaces as she says this; luckily it actually seems to be oxygen and decent pressure over there. A few other crew members look fairly uneasy at the thought as well. ]

I shouldn't have to warn all of you to be careful if you head over there, but consider it done anyway. Let's not forget what happened last time. [ A beat then, helpfully: ] People were brainwashed and killed, last time.

[ Just before the video goes off, at least one person can be heard responding to that comment. ]

((ooc: YAY WE DOCKED AT ANOTHER PLACE THAT'S GOING TO TRY TO KILL US. Be prepared for the flight crew all over this post, guys.))

[Taylor's walking while she talks, which means voice might have been a better choice for getting this message out without the jerk and bump of the current camera work, but she hadn't stopped to think about it past hitting a button. She's got more important things on her mind right now, like the space station they're apparently now docked to.]

Not gonna tell any of you not to go over there. [It'd fall on deaf ears, plus-] If they've got supplies, we need them. But you stay sharp, go armed if you can, don't go alone. Like Fry said, we do not need a repeat of Strela.

[Though she is really hoping the brainwashing thing was a one time deal.]

SEC, I'm heading out and I want half of you with me. Half stay. Don't trust this place not to try pulling some fucked up while we're looking the other way.

[Always ending her posts on the most cheerful note.]
