Besides, from the looks of things, she'll have Brad to back her up -- and Tyke has never, ever been defenseless. So there's John and Chubbs, who he's holding (carefully, but holding nonetheless) in the crook of his arm so that Tyke can see him. ]

[Jack remembers Strela. He remembers everything that they've been through so far on this ship, from the very first moment that they all woke up until this moment. And he's about as equally concerned that things are about to go south as she is. But the idea of fresh supplies isn't something to pass up.]

Count me in for the half that's heading over. Ianto wants to check out what supplies they have, and I'm all for guard duty on that. You know how to reach me if you need me.

[That last sentence may sound a little off, specifically addressing his boss, but it's deliberate. She knows about his abilities, and he's perfectly okay with throwing himself into danger if need be. He'll survive, after all. Not everyone else would be as lucky. 'If you need me, use me,' he wants to say, without actually coming out and saying it.]
