[Eridan is... very sick. And has been pretty much unsighted since the sickness thing started. But he's not above pretending he's fine, in an attempt to... idk, I guess this is what he does when he wants to check in on people or reassure them that he's fine? Maybe this is just a pity party. Or maybe he really has no idea what he's doing.]

[ spending the last hundred+ years with nothing to worry about except the allegedly lethal werewolf bite and a little bit of sun now and then has made damon not very well suited for handling being sick. and not just any sick, space sick. blue eyes sick. can't walk straight from time-to-time sick. while everyone else was getting medical attention these last few days he ignored the nausea and occasional bleeding. he's reached his breaking point.

the video starts with damon leaned against the wall in his quarters looking ridiculously exhausted. in reality the sickness isn't hitting him too hard (thank you for doing something, disease immunity), but that's not going to stop him from whining about any of this. of course, the fever (apparent from the cold sweat accumulating on his forehead) isn't helping. ]

You have got to be kidding me. [ his voice is raspy as he speaks between breaths. ] Someone tell me there's a smilie face I can punch at the end of that creepy maze. I was told getting sick was not part of the immortality contract. [ he groans. ] I want a refund.

[ he probably shouldn't go around blabbing to the network about being a vampire but he's beyond caring at this point. head tilted back against the wall, he lets himself slide all the way down until he's sitting on the floor. ]

Is dragging myself through the maze even worth it? Trying to avoid getting into an Overlook Hotel situation.

Jack Harkness
[The audio turns on, but it's a few moments before Jack speaks up and says anything. His breathing is labored, and there's the sounds of his boots rhythmically hitting the floor in the background - running. He's running back through the maze, on the right path with the aid of those devices that Spock had set up for them, running back towards the medbay, pockets laden with vials. Vials that he's just going to have to hope are the cure, because otherwise what was the point of this? What was the point of any of it, of the maze, of the science department, of the map supplied on the door and the telltale red smiley marking the spot. He doesn't quite trust it, but what's the other option?

When he speaks his voice is rough - he's been running for a while. He'll keep running until he makes it]

We've found something. At the other end of the maze. It might be a cure, I don't know. On our way back now.

John H. Watson

This is Doctor Watson in medbay- well, one of them- and I'll need your full attention for a moment, please. [ He's phrasing it politely by all means, but this is a serious matter. It wouldn't be a request if he could help it. ]

We can confirm that a cure has been recovered from the maze, and that it is a legitimate one. Please report to medbay if you've been exhibiting any of the symptoms attached and haven't come in, I can't stress it enough. This is a fatal illness if it's left untreated, and there's no reason that it should be left untreated. We'll be getting to everyone as soon as possible. If you need help getting to us or know someone who does, speak up so we can make arrangements.

Thank you.

[ And attaching a list with dem symptoms. That part may take a minute to successfully attach, but it gets there. ]
