This is Doctor Watson in medbay- well, one of them- and I'll need your full attention for a moment, please. [ He's phrasing it politely by all means, but this is a serious matter. It wouldn't be a request if he could help it. ]

We can confirm that a cure has been recovered from the maze, and that it is a legitimate one. Please report to medbay if you've been exhibiting any of the symptoms attached and haven't come in, I can't stress it enough. This is a fatal illness if it's left untreated, and there's no reason that it should be left untreated. We'll be getting to everyone as soon as possible. If you need help getting to us or know someone who does, speak up so we can make arrangements.

Nice to meet you, Miss Campbell. We could always use a spare set of hands around medbay? Help keep people moving, make sure everybody gets dosed, that sort of thing.

Alright. I can do that. I'll head over now. And please, call me Mary. [There's a short pause as if she might hang up but then she speaks again.]

I have a quick question though, Doctor. Those of us who didn't get sick... What do you think that means?

...couldn't tell you, honestly. It could be anything from pure luck to some sort of immunity that we didn't manage to puzzle out. [ It's kind of refreshing not to be saying "because the goddess is an arse." But he's still not entirely sure where the Tranquility stands on things of this nature being a deliberate turn. ]

It would be a lot more comforting if it was just a fluke. I don't know... maybe I'm just worrying to much. It might be a blessing in disguise so we're able to help out everyone else who wasn't so lucky.

I'm glad for the chance to be helping out, myself. It doesn't hurt to put off looking a gift horse in the mouth. [ He doesn't think so in this case, at least. ] Anyone on staff ought to be able to get you set up.

Can't say I understand what you mean. Or the idea of it being something you can just get along with. You don't think you're just going crazy?

I suppose that's a possibility as much as anything. My experiences with cross-universal kidnappings so far are a bit overstated for my tastes, though. I like to think if I go mad, it'll be something more subtle.

Sounds like you've got all the luck. Getting kidnapped like this is one thing, but having been through this more than once?

Have to admit if I was going crazy I don't think my mind would come up with space first either. It'd be an aircraft carrier with all its quadrants labelled wrong.

Oh, terrible way to go. I'd wind up in a different version of London, more likely than anything. Not a bad city for a psychopath. [ It's somewhat clipped on the way out, but he's not strictly got anything against the conversation. ] The spaceship has a much more dramatic wakeup call.

Are you keeping a headcount of who gets the treatment and who hasn't yet?

Yes, of course. We'll start stamping hands if we have to.

And do you have a master list of the people on the ship? I shouldn't like to see anyone be overlooked.

We have a list of who's been in. Unfortunately, not all of the ship believes in medbay, and we don't have access to any sort of crew list. We rely on people to come in themselves and look after who they know.
