I know of one individual whose friend called him Erik. He told me to call him "Magneto." Is this the same fellow of whom you speak?

I know comparatively little about him, but I've been able to glean a few facts. I have never, however, met him in person or anything of the sort, and he is far from forthcoming.

Though you saw, I presume, his clamoring for information. That does not seem to you perhaps an overelaborate ruse if he already has such information?

Though I object to some of your generalizations, I am of course not claiming that he cannot lie. But lies are told for a reason, and I cannot discern his reasoning, unless it were for no reason other than shoring up support.

His methods. His way of speaking. If the theory is true, that someone in the fourth month is responsible, he would be the one I would keep closest eye on.

Indeed. S/he directed us to where to locate a cure. This location was full of hazards, without a doubt, so I find it difficult to believe that "Smiley" has much regard for our individual safety, yet that hardly bespeaks hostility. Moreover, prior to that, it had communicated with people on the network, but it had never expressed outright hostility.

Mayhaps I speak from a mind muddles with warfare, but I daresay that enemies hail from wide distances and as such carry many motives not all easy to understand at first.

I have looked in to these transcribings. Nor I think of he aggressive in motion; nor I think of he well with intent.

Perhaps, then, we differ in perspective. As a prosecutor, I require proof of guilt - though do not mistake me; once that proof has been given, I do not offer mercy.

I find it interesting, though, that the consensus truly is that s/he is malicious. I think it most likely speaks to the egos of those on that list.
