The word handed down from Resnik is threefold:

One, they don't think whatever this is is human. That doesn't narrow it down much, but it's more than before.

Two, looks like getting called out with the rest of us might force those two into a little more openness.

Three-- this one is my least favorite one-- she was worried. And text isn't the best medium for inflection, but I'd bet strong out of the gate it wasn't an act anyway.

Just a hunch? I'd say we're looking at mechanical, not organic. Or at least a weird midpoint between the two. Given the surroundings... I don't think it's people with powers we need to worry about.

Stark's arrogant-- [ so speaketh the pot about the kettle ] but he backs it up. If he can't track whoever this is, I'd say we're looking at a monster in a machine-- or at least, a monster who's the best with them.

And given our surroundings, I'd lay house money on tech and not magic.

Depends on what the basics are. I've picked up enough to get by, but when you're talking about keeping up with a threat like this... I'm lacking.
