[ When the video flicks on, there's some really terrible shaky cam going down. Shots of the floor and ceiling interspersed with brief glimpses of Tyke's back, as Tommy tries to get a decent shot of the... Whatever it is. Like a stream of black sand moving through the air like smoke. ]

What the hell is that?

No fucking idea.

[ There's a dog barking at the black thing, shuffling fearfully on its paws but putting up a loud front. The camera jostles as Tommy shifts it to his other hand. ]

You're the one who's seen weird shit.

Yeah. Doesn't mean I've seen all the weird shit ever. [ She moves closer, crouching down next to the dog that's barking, putting a hand on its neck. It quiets down to growls. ] The dogs don't like it. I don't like it.

[ Tommy's response is just a grunt of affirmation. He's not sure he needed the dogs to figure that one out, but they're sure being clear about it. ]

Are you videoing? [ The camera catches Tyke glancing over her shoulder as she says it, noting that he is and nodding. Then the camera swings around, framing the lower left quarter of Tommy's face. ]

Anyone got something to add here?

[He may not be able to feel the thing, but, well, it's pretty obvious what it is. Amidst this call are the sounds of someone struggling to get moving. Dean really is the best bet. But until he turns up, Castiel will just have to do his best to help.]

[ Tommy's willing to give some credence to a lot of the crazy stuff people say on this ship because the situation itself is kind of crazy, but: ]

[ Tommy presses his lips together, juts his chin out, while he thinks it over. He glances over at where Tyke find a loose pipe. ]

How much iron? Piece of the ship gonna work?

If it's enough to wield as a weapon, yes. But only attack it if it gets too close to you while you're escaping.

[Hint hint. Get moving you two.]

[ The camera ends up pointing at nothing for a while, while Tommy finds something metal he can pry loose from the ship. He ends up with the door off one of the ventilation shafts. ]

We'll get moving when know no one else's gonna get attacked by this thing.

Staying there makes you a target. Demons are more of a threat once they have a host.

Get out of there now.

Then you or Dean better get here before this possess one of us, huh? [ Tommy jaw's set in full stubborn ex-soldier mode. ]

[ Tommy doesn't say anything, as far as he's concerned that's both their cards on the table and all that needs to be said, but he does give a short nod of acknowledgment. ]

[She hates when people give her two sets of instructions.]

Either. Just find whichever is closest to you and use it to ward off the demon.

[puppydogeyes]

Demon? [Only she knows getting an explanation of that isn't as important as dealing with it.] We're not leaving it. I can send the dogs.

I can send the dogs to get the salt. I'm not going to ignore the fact they're freaked the fuck out by it. Especially when you said demon.
