[This is the first time Dorian's used this strange device of his to broadcast, though he arrived during the jump before this one. Best to be sure of what you're doing, to take care and try things out so you don't look like a fool. There's also no reason to speak to the group unless you have something important to bring up.

As I remain here, I've gotten more and more concerned. Upon arrival, it was easy to ignore, as there were so many things to get used to, but I'm afraid I can no longer continue to stay silent.

[Dorian holds up the jumpsuit he found in his locker when he woke here. There were his mage robes as well, luckily, which is what he's wearing now - and perhaps that explains the look of disgust on his face.]

It's a travesty that some of you choose to wear this. It's so dull - no colors, no fine fabrics, no accents at all. Is there truly nowhere to procure decent clothing onboard this space ship?

[He says 'space ship' carefully, the unfamiliarity of the words sitting strangely in his mouth.]

I desperately need to be directed to a tailor. There must be other options. This simply cannot be borne.

Sometimes people find things in their lockers. Or get things when we dock.

Or they'll wear clothes that were left behind when people disappeared.

[But hey, this is just a kid, Dorian doesn't expect him to know that.]

Hmm. So it's not impossible, then. But I'm not certain I'd want to wear someone's cast-offs.

[Well, it's not high up on Galadriel's list of priorities, but she can't say that she disagrees. There's a reason that the few gowns she has here are high on her list of most prized items.]

The difficulty lies primarily in resources. Decent fabric is not easy to come by here.

How disappointing. I would rather not wear the same thing every day, and this thing - [he shakes the jumpsuit] - shouldn't even be considered.

I'm beginning to believe that most people here think the same way. It's tragic.

I find it difficult to believe that you're that torn up about clothing, considering what you did to mine.

[Longsuffering, of course. His glorious fur neck mantle thing still smells like the abomination, no matter how often it's washed.]

That was an accident, Commander. I mourn the loss of your clothing deeply.

[He doesn't. He doesn't actually feel bad at all. What do you think you are, Cullen, some kind of lion? That fur thing is weird.]

[It's honestly the mage robes that catch her eye long enough to bother holding conversation. It would be a bad choice not to at least manage introductions, just in case. The topic, however, is arguably one of her least favorite. Obvious, if not from her sarcastic way of joking, then for the uniform of templar armor she wears. She fights the overemphasis of an eye roll. It is a losing battle.]

Clearly it is in need of ruffles or at the least a sash.

I've never heard of the man, but if he looks like me then he no doubt has excellent taste. He can't be half as charming, of course, but we can't have everything.

he's not touching those jumpsuits if he can help it, he'll wear travis' clothes before he has to resort to that.]

If you do find a tailor, I wouldn't mind knowing about it. You'd think in a place this size they'd have something.

You'd think, but I've found nothing so far. Only some assurances that it's occasionally possible to find fabric. What a deprived place this is.

( it is with someone evident amusement that nuala responds to this by video - dressed finely, as befits her station, in rich shades of purple and gold. her station isn't "dressmaker", but she must pass her time somehow, and it isn't as if anyone else was going to sew her gowns for her. not only herself she's decorated with the fruits of her needlework, but this pavilion - made it an oasis of bethmooran aesthetic, and viewing it from inside, it could almost be another place entirely, somewhere other than this ship.

[It is entirely a relief to see someone who seems to at least make an attempt with their appearance. Dorian was beginning to think he was nearly the last of his kind on this spaceship. At least there are one or two other sane individuals here.]

Ah, lovely. Finally someone else with good taste. I'm afraid I have little to offer beyond my own good taste, scintillating wit, and considerable magical skill.

[He supposes that the jumpsuits are better than nothing at all, but not much better.]

Regardless, I've been informed it's possible to procure some clothing here, if you're lucky.

I doubt some have much choice in the matter, Dorian. [ Rhys sounds vaguely amused. The only real fault he found with the jumpsuit was just the fact that it was a jumpsuit (far less comfortable than his robes). ]

So it seems. It's tragic, really. We should all be able to do better.

[And the fact that they can't is the real problem here. Not being trapped, or the whole spaceship thing - nope. Poor fashion choices.]

[While not overly concerned with fashion herself, Liara has to admit, she's with him on this one.]

I was fortunate enough to arrive with my own clothing intact, in addition to the jumpsuits provided. I like to think of them as a last resort.

[They really are awful, in her opinion.]

That said, I'm not certain where you might find something else... perhaps we should take extra care with our things from home in order to ensure they last us.
