[ It's very, very brief, but the sadness is there. Chase not in Capa's room, however--she's in the med bay and judging from how she's sitting she's been there for quite a long time, staring directly at a locker with a number that's not hers. She clears her throat and then begins: ]

The Doctor isn't here anymore. I believe there were others from his universe about Tranquility, but I regret to inform you he's gone. A lot of our population has recently decreased.

[ But more importantly, he's gone. Around her neck is a bowtie she's managed to fashion out of paper, and she makes a point to adjust it. They're cool, after all. ]

...And yet we're no closer to the truth and we're chasing around theories. Silly theories. Silly theories when people disappear right under our noses and all we're doing is sitting around letting it happen.

I've seen way too many horror movies to promise you I'm not going anywhere, Chase. But whatever's behind this is gonna have a hell of a fight on its hands if it comes for me. Or for you.

I appreciate it. But I've done a bit of surviving myself. And I've got someone helping me now. I'll be fine.

[and Heather has started to form Opinions about Capa since learning about his link with the girl and how frequently she seems to be alone or upset, but that fight will have to wait to be picked another day.]
