[ Hey Ataraxion, have one obviously annoyed, slightly frustrated, small brunette currently looking into what she assumes is the camera of the device in front of her. She’s only been here for a couple of hours, and already she thinks this is some convoluted dream – she just hasn’t figured out whose yet.

Brow furrowed, she lets out a long sigh, rubbing at the back of her neck before finally speaking to the screen. ] So it seems I'm not alone here. [ Which is a good thing, right? (or so she hopes) ] Yet none of you seem to have any real answers.

[ It’s not annoyance in her voice then, more sympathetic perhaps. (She feels your frustrations, okay?) A small smile ghosts across her face, taking on an almost hopeful expression. ]

Is there a way we could all work together - start ruling out some possibilities maybe?

At least maybe get an idea as to why we were the ones taken. [Quickly adding: ] Is there something significant about you others would find beneficial – anything that may be important?

[ She pauses, attention turning away from the device, and the faint sound of metal hitting the table can be heard. (She tests her totem yet again, still unsatisfied with the results.) Her attention drifts back to the screen, as she clearly is fighting back the panic and uncertainty before she mumbles. ]

Dreams feel real when you're in them...

[ Not that the rest of the people here would understand that. But she needs to keep reminding herself this fact. ]

[ she wasn't sure if she was expecting this response or not. obviously she was hoping for it. but when it came across, it sorta through her for a loop and she couldn’t help but sit and stare at the screen a moment, just trying to find the right response. please don't be a projection of mine. didn't seem like the best one after all. ]

arthur? where are you?

[only a second later her voice is coming through. ]

Is this really you?

[ confirmation, ariadne would like it right about now. ]

Yeah, it's me. [ a pause, and then he continues: ] You okay? Ten fingers, ten toes?

[ she sighs, sounding more relived then anything suddenly. ] I'm fine - given the circumstance.

About the same. Everything's all here, at least.

[ TRANSLATION: he's in one piece. don't worry, ari! ]

[ Oh good! Can't help it, it's in her nature to worry, get use to it. ]

Where are you?

Walking the ship. I can come to you?

[ can we say; the girl might be very eager for that. ]

I'm in my room - or what I'm assuming is my room. I got in here, so that says something I guess.

[ arthur figures.

and he'd rather see her for himself, anyway. ]

[ number? oh that annoying ass tattoo she now has? right. ]

001 - 004. Small number for a small girl. [ did that almost sound like a lame joke? sorta. :/ ]

[ MIGHT BE SMILING. JUST A TINY BIT. just a little. ]

Not small enough, maybe. [ teasing! ]

[ she'll just giggle slightly at that. amusing, arthur, amusing. :p ]

No one's complained yet. [ she is honestly smiling at that. ]

I'll meet you outside my door?

[ arthur's glad to hear her smile. and laugh. he marks a point for himself on his imaginary REASONS WHY I'M THE MOST AWESOME board. ]
