001 ⊗ TEXT

[There are several orders of business, here, and Lisbeth gets right down to them: no greeting, no please, no thank you.]

I want to know how many people have left the ship and then returned. With or without memories of being here before, and how long they were gone. Firsthand accounts or otherwise.

I also want to know how often our brains and bodies are fucked with and whether anyone's unaffected. I know this isn't the first time.
[And if you're stupid enough to go blabbing to a stranger about the memories you're experiencing, be her guest, but she's not asking for that.]

I need these items:
- disposable camera
- soldering iron
- copper wire
- electrical tape

Contact me privately and we'll arrange something.

How much have you heard about Strela?
andblockbuster: (Freddy would never marry Jason.)

"Didn't go well" is how we describe what happened on the Cyllene, my friend. Strela was what is commonly referred to in the neurological community as a... [He struggles really hard to find a better word, because ugh f-bombs, but gives up.] ...clusterfuck
andblockbuster: (Is that Kansas skank gone?)

I think I need more data on the subject, but it's lookin' like...

Yeah, right now, but it'll build and stuff. Until one day, you and someone else or a whole lot of someone else's are just one big hivebrain.
andblockbuster: (OH MY GOD A GIANT ROCK.)

Well, unless you've got a brilliant genius plan that's better than mine, it... could.

[ sherlock only got the footnotes, but the association catches his attention. ]

Assimilation?

[ which was the entirety of the footnotes, basically. he's fishing for elaboration. ]

Which is just a super fancy term for multiple minds existing as one. First you get the memory share to get you all cozy with the idea of sharing your headspace with another person and then the next thing you know, you're soup.

Sense of self still V much intact. Admittedly a few 2 many lukewarm responses, but the majority seems 2 B strongly averse to "sharing headspace".

Yeah, well, I've got a craving for really rare steak I haven't been able to shake since the jump, dude. I'm not comfortable in my self-ness at this time.

Don't eat steak. Selfness asserted.

[ easy fix, right. ]

Let's just say I have... way more issues with the idea of someone else's brain in my head than most people. Even if it's just their phantom cravings and their memories of that time their dog died.

[Dollhouse employees, man.] ...Not that I have anyone's memories of their dog dying.
andblockbuster: (They just murdered Val Kilmer.)

I... [Well half the ship is getting his memories anyway] ...Used to work for a company that imprinted people with new personalities and memories?
andblockbuster: (I will drown you in international waters)

It is. It... was. The home office is sort of a smoking crater right now.
