[ caroline's sitting in her room surrounded by her loot which is mostly clothes with some jewelry and other knick knacks including a good selection of booze. she and tyler made off like bandits.] That place was better than a mall even if I guess this technically makes me a space pirate or something. [ however, that's the not the worst thing to be called, after all.] Too bad the ship kinda had a freaky meltdown there towards the end.

[ she pauses, pushing the pile of folded clothes off her lap onto the bed.] Is everyone okay? I mean, no one got trapped over there, right? [ she's mostly talking to you, people she loves and even the new people she's met.]

I know people have kind of said that bad things happening is almost cliche around here but seriously? Was that normal? Do I even want to know whatever bad stuff has happened before this?

A jump ago post Jenna and John's funeral. [ he basically escaped dying from a werewolf bite -- not that anyone aside from stefan knows.

Wait. Do you have the bite? [ Caroline knows.] I mean obviously not if you're still alive. [ unless the ship has slowed it down or something.

You're gonna need that bottle, trust me. [ holy time difference batman. she just sighs.] Stefan isn't the one who told me, Elena is. And Stefan... he saved you from the bite, he got Klaus's blood to heal you.

[ he's heard of timeline differences, but he didn't expect that caroline would be from sometime ahead of him because... well, because that's just completely sucky. ]

I so wouldn't have agreed to that... [ because he knows klaus wouldn't have given stefan anything without expecting something in return. oh, he was an idiot to have told his brother about the bite. of course stefan would play the part of the hero and try to save him. ]

You were kinda dying and delirious. You didn't get much of a say.

[ he raises his eyebrows slightly at that. of course he was. he'd been there during rose's last few moments. he remembers.

so he didn't end up dying after all. funny how that doesn't make him feel the least bit relieved. ] Just how far ahead into the future are you? [ also how much does he want to know even? ]

You probably don't want to know but...[ she tells him how many months because what is tvd timeline. she's at almost the middle of season four.]

They used to be here but they got sent home, I guess. [ she misses elena a lot. bonnie too. even stefan.] It's just Jenna, Alaric, and Tyler now.

Huh. [ He really didn't think anyone else would be here and has been quite the hermit.
