If you were a superhero, what would you want your power be? And would you tell anyone about it?

I used to read a lot of comic books.

[And by 'used to' he really means right before he came here.]

I guess I've just always liked superheroes. They have powers, gifts, things that make them special. But there's always pain too. They lose people that they love, or they have to hide their true identity. Their lives are never perfect.

Maybe I should've started by asking if you would WANT to be a superhero.

i'm not a superhero, but maybe i could be, if i used my mutation right. i haven't thought about it like that before, though..

and if you like comic books, you should keep your eyes peeled for a boy named Jake English. he likes all of that stuff.

I think you could be a really good superhero. I'd read all your comics and I wouldn't take your action figure out of its original packaging.

that might be awkward though because if i ever were to become a superhero, i'd want you on my team. is there a rule against teammates buying each other's merchandise?

[ she wants to mention that an invisible man and a shapeshifter could actually be a really great team, but she's not sure if he's told anyone else about what he can do yet, SO. vague, for now ]

on that note, i should ask if you've ever given yourself a codename, or a superhero name. just for fun! [ OR FOR REAL LIFE ] i go by 'mystique' back home. sort of. eventually that's what people will call me!
