Since I've only just arrived and it seems there's a lot to learn around here, I'm hoping someone out there can answer a couple of questions for me. Just simple ones right now, really.

What do you all do for fun, in your leisure time? Is there a library, or games? Darts, pool table, that sort of thing maybe?

And, um...I know there's been a little talk about it, but is there any alcohol on board? And if so, is it available for public consumption or do I have to beg someone for a drink or two?

There's no firing range that I'm aware of right now, but you're welcome to show up to the basketball club as a spectator when I do it. Don't expect anything professional, though. A lot of the participants are learning how to play for the first time.

You're welcome. I've been here a little over - well, I guess it's about a month. Since the last jump, 009. Time is a little weird here.

I'll be keeping everyone informed of the progress.

Advice? Mostly what I've been telling people is to watch what you say on the network. There is no expectation of privacy on this thing, not even with the best encryptions. There are hundreds of people here, all ages and from all kinds of worlds. Not to mention Ward and Resnik, and that smiley guy the newcomer guide warns everyone about. Some people here don't seem to give any of that much thought when having conversations on the network.

Who knows? And personally, I'm assuming that Ward, Resnik and possibly that smiley guy can see everything on the network, regardless of encryption level. Seems like the safest way to go.
