[ The video feed clicks on to show a now relatively calm Pepper, even if her mouth is set in a fairly thin line of mild discontent. Her hair is scraped back and tied in a neat bun, with her fringe still plastered a little wetly to her forehead, but at least she's clean now. She's been making regular use of the showers since arriving, just to make sure that every last bit of blue hideousness is washed away from her. For now, at least. ]

Now that everyone's had at least a bit of time to recover- [ herself very much included, even if "recover" is something of an overstatement ] -I might as well introduce myself, though from what I've been told, it appears some of you may already know who I am.

I'm Pepper Potts, an associate and coworker- [ this is still new, Tony, don't complain] -of Tony Stark's. [ The next words are a little practised, ones she's gone over in her mind and made sure that they're absolutely clear before speaking them. ] Not the same one from before, though. I have absolutely no memory of having been on this ship before, even though apparently I was, and I'm sorry to anyone that I might have met previously.

[ She pauses, briefly, before going on. ]

I just wanted to clear that up before any confusion took place. I think some of us have more than enough of that already, what with being on a spaceship and everything. [ The thought still makes her want to shudder a little. ] Thank you for your time, and I hope everyone's successfully washed off all of that awful blue stuff.

[ With a good natured, mild smile, Pepper shuts off the feed. She realises it's a rather mundane sort of addition to the network, but she'll leave revelations and interesting matters to Tony. She still isn't sure if she has the entire picture here - Tony has a curious understanding of what he should and shouldn't tell her, she knows this from experience - but god knows she will have it, one way or another. ]

[ She wouldn't be surprised if Tony has met quite a lot of people in the time that he's been here, mostly because Tony has his ways and his charms, not to mention it's been quite a long while since he arrived. She might as well start taking note of these people; if Tony knows them, she'll need to know them too.

Pepper also doesn't remember the last time she was addressed with "sup". It makes her feel a bit old and stuffy, but she maintains her smile and continues without missing a beat. ]

Adjusting, still. This is a pretty drastic change to what I'm used to.

He's rad as fuck.

[ Oh. Wow. Of course Pepper immediately recognises the voice, she has heard it almost every day of her life for years, now, but to actually put a face to it is- well, it's remarkable. And really weird. Really weird. ]

Oh my God, Tony wasn't joking. [ Her mouth has fallen open and her eyes are wide as she leans forward a little towards the camera, disbelief etched all across her face. ] That's really you, Jarvis?

I am, yes - I guess you could say we're partners, of sorts.

[ In more ways than one, but Pepper won't elect to go into details about that. ]

[ Is Pepper rather amused that a young girl appears to be telling her this? Very. ]

I'm not surprised by that. Some things never change.

[ Chase, oh my god, you suck so much. What are you doing telling her that? ]

[ Pepper wasn't surprised by an individual who at least looks very much like a child already knowing Tony because of his time spent on board. She is surprised, however, that a young boy is familiar with Tony, but not aware that he's on the ship. Of course, many young boys know who Tony Stark is, where she comes from, but... there's an implied familiarity there. Just a first name, the exact emotions on the boy's face, all of that. ]

Tony Stark? Yes, he is. He has been for some months, actually.

Indeed it is, madam. [ His eyebrows raise minutely, watching Pepper leans in as he merely sits to be observed. Yes, it's still strange for him too, especially the whole having a face for people to look at thing. Very weird. ]

I can return to audio only if you'd like a moment to adjust.

[ Pepper laughs a little, with equal amounts of surprise and mirth. That's one way to describe him, she supposes. ]

I hope you haven't told him that, his ego's already unnaturally large. [ She says it fondly, however, and not very seriously. With faint curiosity, she continues. ] What exactly are you planning to get sorted?

No, no, this is fine. [ She smiles, as warmly as she can, though her eyes are still looking him up and down with distinct awe. ] I'm not going to get used to it if I don't see it.

[ At length: ]

Anyway, it's a good look. I think it suits you.

[ He attempts a small, minute smile. Cali had told him attempting human expression should be a priority, but there it is. Lookit him, observing and learning things. ] I am pleased you're satisfied with my new platform Ms. Potts.

Are you having any issue adjusting to the ship?

[He'd heard thing, listening to people's initial posts, never making it very far in the comments, but... he's heard about the time differences, some people from the future, from the past, some people being here for a really long time and other people just arriving.

So in the end, James swallows and grits his teeth, tries to calm down and-]

That's stupid! If he's been here for so long, he had to have heard- [No, come on James, use your head.] ...How old is he?

[ Ignoring that part that almost wants to say "my condolences" for no logical reason.
