Good evening, Tranquility.
Shall we discuss ?

This seems to be a trend for you.

002 » 083 -- Thor Odinson
Everything leaves in the end. What does that say about you, Odinson?

002 » 023 -- (2009) Sherlock Holmes

If the entity is not human, and passengers on board are not human, what then stops residents from provoking it, exactly?

001 » 198 -- (BBC) Sherlock Holmes
You have been here since the ship began bringing foreign bodies in, correct?

[ she wasn't sure how much he was told about Smiley already, but she wasn't one who wouldn't try and share any knowledge she had on the topic, especially if one was requesting it. ]

A faceless entity. No one's determined whether it is human, or not. Could be man-made, could be something completely inhuman, but not lacking in intelligence.

I haven't been here long, but from what I've seen, first it appeared to toy with the entire members on board. But during the recently passed pandemic, it actually provided answers to finding the cure. Its motives are unclear.

It's a shame to admit that the entire difficulty of discussing it, is the sheer lack of understanding we have towards it.

I'm sorry I can't offer you much more.

[ she's careful in her trust, but does try and give plenty of chances. but she's also turning her video transmission on, since an introduction was asked for. and given that she was also part of the medical team, she thought a face to go with the name wouldn't be uncalled for.

that, and her victorian upbringing. regardless, there's a polite smile, and a calculated glance.
]

Doctor Helen Magnus. And you are --?

[ there's a light shake of her head. ] No thanks necessary, especially since I've offered little. I believe cooperation is one of the few ways to solve something like this. Unfortunately, as you noticed, not everyone is of similar opinion.

[ though from her time is being albeit vague, since 'her time' started in 19th century london, running through until 2011. regardless, she does notice the attire, and the accent. english, but not quite. it's not reminiscent of anything she's seen in her lifetime, abnormal or human - perhaps merely read about. in myths. but she of all people should know myths were just covered-up truths.

a nod, a quirk of a brow. not here? she makes a note of that, but it's rude to pry without reason.
]

I understand. [ she didn't fully. she simply meant she understood the notion of privacy. it was his business. a beat, another hint of a smile. ] It's a pleasure.

Are you familiarizing yourself with the ship alright?

[ There's a nod, a polite smile. ] Well, if I can assist in any way, don't hesitate to ask. It definitely takes a bit to get completely used to this. [ The situation included; being dropped from your world onto a spaceship is a test for all that come here, she's sure. ]

[ There's a light pause. Well. She never really enjoyed talking about herself, even answering basic questions such as this.] Medical. Amongst others. [ A beat. ] I've had a chance to study teratology, crypto-zoology and xenobiology. [ and receive degrees in said sciences, but she didn't think it important to mention that. Instead, she adds, in form of explanation: ] I've simply had a lot of time on my hands.
