[The device crackles on, and a young blond with a scar running down one side of his forehead comes into view. He might look like someone already here--one Alex Summers. But this? Isn't the one already existing.

This one? Looks more than a bit annoyed, but he’s attempting to control it. The muscles in his jaw flex as he presses his lips into a thin line. Once or twice he nearly talks, but stops himself, as if he’s rethinking what he was about to say.

Alex knows the consequences of flying off the handle. It’s happened before; it’s gotten others hurt.

He’ll keep this short, and to the point. Because that’s what he does.]

Look, I don’t know if Genero is running this show or not; I don’t care. I’m tired of the bullshit, and I just want answers.

[He holds up a black mask.]

And this? I’m not wearing this again.

[He tosses it down, then leans forward slightly. There are more troubling things to deal with, than a damn mask. Like after a quick survey of the room, he didn't see Sean, Teddy--any of the others. Maybe he missed them, but he has a sneaking suspicion he didn't.]

I want to know where the others are, and I want them awake.

We’ve been dreaming long enough.

[And as he reaches out for the device, he mutters under his breath, softly]

[She did get out before them. But she's...blond. Could mean she's from a different timeline or...something. He doesn't know. But he's going to play his cards close to his chest, for now.]

[By now, he gets that she isn't the Raven he knew. So some of the animosity falls away--some of it. He's not perfect, and he can't get rid of that betrayed feeling all together.]

It's particularly disturbing to see this directly after the man identical to Hank and it does very little to soothe Alex's paranoia of government shenanigans going on with this whole stupid set up. After the initial wide-eyed shock, Alex's expression slowly morphs into concern, and eventually that concern turns to just pissed off. ]

And this? Well hearing about it, then seeing it staring you in the face is something completely different.

[ Well that's a creepy as all hell.

But if anything, the fact he knows his name solidifies the disturbing factor of it all, but does nothing for the paranoid streak of ridiculous theories shooting through his mind at the moment. He knows him, so it's not like the guy who just looks like Hank. It's something different.

And he is calling this person an it for now, because there's no way this can be natural. ]

What gives it away is the scars across his face, and Erik knows well enough that the one he's familiar with isn't likely to do that, but nevertheless, he still reaches for an encrypted message this time around. ]

Alex -- what. Where are you? [ Not even going to waste time asking for questions, or trying to determine just why there's another version; it's a matter of his own team being there in the first place. ]

He doesn't quite recall just what conversation Alex, this Alex is talking about, but the fact that there are two of them around, especially with the other one currently talking to him, Erik is capable of putting two and two together. ]

[ Erik pauses, trying to figure out just why this one, or even Alex is talking to him so defensively; the other one had at least tolerated him. ]

She's already accepted that she's on a spaceship that shouldn't exist, is this really that implausible in the situation they're in? That's why the last half of her sentence sounds more like a statement than a question.] There's two of you.
