Ω 1 Ω [Video]
[The device crackles on, and a young blond with a scar running down one side of his forehead comes into view. He might look like someone already here--one Alex Summers. But this? Isn't the one already existing.
This one? Looks more than a bit annoyed, but he’s attempting to control it. The muscles in his jaw flex as he presses his lips into a thin line. Once or twice he nearly talks, but stops himself, as if he’s rethinking what he was about to say.
Alex knows the consequences of flying off the handle. It’s happened before; it’s gotten others hurt.
He’ll keep this short, and to the point. Because that’s what he does.]
Look, I don’t know if Genero is running this show or not; I don’t care. I’m tired of the bullshit, and I just want answers.
[He holds up a black mask.]
And this? I’m not wearing this again.
[He tosses it down, then leans forward slightly. There are more troubling things to deal with, than a damn mask. Like after a quick survey of the room, he didn't see Sean, Teddy--any of the others. Maybe he missed them, but he has a sneaking suspicion he didn't.]
I want to know where the others are, and I want them awake.
We’ve been dreaming long enough.
[And as he reaches out for the device, he mutters under his breath, softly]
This is bullshit.
[The feed ends.]

Mystique.
[She did get out before them. But she's...blond. Could mean she's from a different timeline or...something. He doesn't know. But he's going to play his cards close to his chest, for now.]

Did you just get here?
no subject
Yeah--look I already know that there's an Alex here. It's complicated.
What's the last thing you remember from home?
no subject
The last memories I have of home are from the night before we flew out to Cuba to stop Shaw. I've been told what happens, how things turned out... But I haven't actually experienced any of it myself.
[then, a little rushed; ] But things are different here. We don't have to split up, and there aren't any sides. Whatever happened on the beach... It matters to me because it happened to all of you, but in my eyes we're all still a team. Which is weird, I know, and I can tell by the way you're looking at me you probably don't even trust me anymore, but that's how I see it.

[Alex sighs.]
But I know you aren't the same girl. Look, I'm not going to judge on you on that scale. We all have shit we're not proud of, and you haven't even crossed that line yet.
So don't worry about it.
You going by Raven or Mystique, here?
no subject
Either name is fine. I've also shown everyone what I can do, and what I really look like.
[ she shrugs ]
I shift to keep myself in shape, but I'm usually in my true form. Just... so you know.
We're accepted here.
no subject
[Alex gives a bit of a shrug. They were accepted in Promenade, too. But he's also gotten to the point where if people didn't accept them...well. They could go fuck themselves. Maybe it's a bit out of Erik's book, but it's how he feels. They've been through too much to be otherwise.]
Just to keep things from getting complicated--I don't mind just being called Havok.
[First Alex should probably keep the name, right?]
no subject
[ a small smile, but now she's curious. ]
So... where were you? Before this? You look different.
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Place called Promenade. I was there for four months. Got into a bit of trouble...scarred me up.
