003 | video;

[ Tommy's looking a little worse for wear right now, sitting up on one of the beds in the medbay and carefully angling the camera so it mostly just shows his face and not the stuff that's still healing up from his adventure the other night. There might be kids watching, okay?

He's also sounding a little extra terse.

In the medbay. Fine, but I'll probably be here another day. If you were wondering. Object fu-- [ cover your ears kids!! ] frigging lesson in why we should be sticking to a buddy system on this ship.

Watch your backs. There's something out there that ain't a demon.

[ ooc: between being sore and embarrassed, tommy's not in a great mood, so responses may be briefer and grumpier than usual. feel free to hit him up on his log. ]

[These bites must not be severe--or else some of the magic of this place allows for him to be healed faster. Still, Bran feels a little twinge of concern.]

There are many methods of healing here. Perhaps someone will be able to help you. [A little pause, and he adds:] Was it a very large wolf?

[Werewolves, he thinks, that's the only other wolves. There is one that he knows. Could there be others?]

It was not one of ours, ser. Direwolves are large, but--we would know.

[He says it firmly, if quietly. It was not, and Tommy Conlon must know that for certain, in case there is a doubt in his mind.]
wolfdreamer: (wary - you run through the forest)

[He nods, just to further back up that statement--though there is some relief that Tommy Conlon was quick to agree.]

They do not attack, unless it is to defend, or unless ordered. They would not attack you. They are direwolves, but they listen well enough. [And sometimes it does not seem so much like listening as it does knowing, but Bran does not say that. He takes a moment to consider instead.] They could help to find the wolf that did hurt you.

They are capable hunters. Summer especially, because he is older. It might be difficult to make them understand, but we could try. [He looks down at his hands as he says this, as he struggles to decide the wisdom of this offer. It would be a help, but walking as Summer--] And if worked, we would know what threat there was.
wolfdreamer: (smile - mother don't worry)

[Again, he shakes his head, this time with a small smile.]

Summer would not be harmed. He's-- clever. And direwolves are very strong.

[He hesitates for a beat. Summer knows, that is how hunting usually works, as if there is some unseen line tugging him on toward prey. Or that's the way it seems to Bran when he tries to think wolf thoughts in his boy's head, where scents do not translate to tracks.

He nods.]

I think it would be of a help to him. If it was a beast, Summer will find it easily. He is skilled at the hunt, and he has never been injured. I can send him to you. [And then, as another reassurance:] He will not harm you.
wolfdreamer: (LISTEN - I saw a sign in the sky)

[video]um do you want to action here or go to the log or assume that Summer showed up or WHATEVER 8)

[He nods again. Summer will find the wolf, though he keeps that only as a thought in his mind; he does not say it aloud. His faith in Summer has never gone without reward, but this ship is full of tricks, and might play them both false.]

I will send him now. [Alone, for it will be swifter that way, though he leaves that unsaid, too.]
