[ It takes Peter a second after he's turned his phone on to give it the direct look he means to -- he's still not used to the thing yet. Or public speaking. ]

I already got the rundown on all of this, but i've got a question for anyone. Everyone.

Who here's actually talked to the Captain? [ He pauses for a second like he's waiting for an actual response. ] Is he really the only one who gets to decide who gets dragged onto this.. ship? Because i've been hunted down by the government once already and woken up somewhere I didn't plan on being, and if this has something to do with that--

[ Getting a little too irritated sounding, he sighs, taking another second. ]

Just have a hard time believing that the guy who flies this is the only one that decides who gets on this thing. It can't be that simple. [ Just like he's still having a hard time believing he's in space but... that's all he's got for right now. ]

A lot worse. [ Even though Mason's able to handle the whole thing a little better than most doesn't mean he finds any of it pleasant. ] I think I heard something about some people trying to stay out of the couches last time, but I don't know if they actually did it. Or if they're, you know... still around now.

And I was aiming for sarcasm, believe me, this is the last place that I think could ever be seen as comforting. Though, I was never really big on space camp as a kid.
