He was a Mage. Too greedy--he systematically destroyed all of the other Mages who were sent from God to protect the districts and planets in Heaven's Fence. He ousted Coheed and Cambria, the very first in the resistance, and made them out to be terrorists after they destroyed nine planets and one of the Stars of Sirius, creating what you call your Solar system.
[ She doesn't stop, having memorized pretty much everything she's spouting. ]
They were the Crowing's parents. My aunt and uncle, technically. Ryan has Heaven's Fence under an iron clad rule, and I'm afraid the Prise are waiting too much on God's work. Just--Just recently, my brother and the rest of the rebel forces fought with Ryan on Silent Earth: 3. He's still a terrible person. Sickeningly evil, but dangerously smart.
