Let's do a vote. Show of hands. How many of you think we're all alone here? A whole planet of pretty woods, jut for us. And how many of you think that we can't be alone. Maybe there's some city out there. Too bad you can't leave the camp.

And how many of you think that we're, like, totally surrounded. I hear that's a thing. Because there's spears, and they're stealing from us. Blah, blah. Tell me something real. If there's someone out there? I'd like to get to them first. I'd like to think everyone would agree with me, but I'm sure I'd be wrong.

Actually, you know what I'd love? I'd love for them to come by and try to get at my stuff. Consider this an invitation.

Yeah. There is a crashed plane in the woods that looks World War II-ish and has some skeletons in it wearing Nazi uniforms. No sign of what it was up to before it ended up here. All the weapons were rusted beyond repair.

[ Kate puts it together a second later. ]

Gasmasks, old radios, I think I see where you're going. But everything in the plane was old. Decayed, rusted, decomposed to skeletons. There were vines growing up over the side of it. It can't have just arrived during a jump.

[coldshot]

[ It could if we're all trapped in a networked series of matrices pulling from different points in time simultaneously but u kno. Blue pills. ]

Even the food came from the war. [ He sounds super sure, Kate can probably imagine why. ] Hell of a coincidence if there's no connection.

Yeah, it would be. Maybe the jump picked that stuff up out of the woods and dumped it here on us? I'm not sure how else to get around the fact that that plane clearly did not crash here that recently. It was way too overgrown, even the knocked-down trees were overgrown.

[ Kate is thinking aloud, running back over the scene in her mind. ]

It has a bomb bay, but it's empty. So I guess we should be on the lookout for craters or unexploded bombs just in case they dropped those here.
