[ Natasha’s face on the screen is blank and unreadable, but for those that know her, she’s probably very unamused. She doesn't like it when questions aren't answered, and even less so when she’s actively told not to ask. It just makes her want to ask more.

But this line isn't secure, and Natasha knows better than to push her luck this early on. Thinking of this like a mission is the easiest way to deal with it. ] Hi. Natasha Romanoff. Some of you have apparently already met me, even though I don't remember it. I've heard a rumor that SHIELD agents are here, so if you could check in with me, I'd appreciate it.

[ As for work, she'll deal with that later. Right now, she has to get settled and get information from people who might actually give it to her. She considers a moment, and then tilts the corner of her mouth up into a tiny smile. ]

Also, I'm into collecting fossils, so if anyone's seen Captain Steve Rogers around, let me know.

[ She stares at this for a long moment because -- well she asked for information, but this? This comes across as paranoid at worst. It's something she'd do, and that's why she's suspicious, but in the end, she decides to go. Natasha doesn't respond, just grabs her gun and heads to the room indicated in the message. She at least has the decency to keep her weapon holstered as she approaches. ]

[ Room 055 >> 010 is empty, because of course it is; a dead end with a minimally-defensible entrance is no place for either of them to meet, but he steps out from one a few doors down as she gets close, keeping a healthy distance down the empty hall. His weapon, too, is holstered. It's not as if either of them need to be armed to be dangerous, but a drawn gun is a threat of violence, and he isn't here to threaten her.

He's smaller than the she might remember, broader in the shoulder but an inch or two shorter. Brown eyes stare out at her instead of blue, his hair cut short the way it was when he was young, but the metal arm marked with a star red as her hair is hard to mistake.

(She isn't the woman he remembers, not from half a century ago or just a few jumps back, when she'd gone into her pod again and not come out. He knows that; he's just never quite sure how much it matters.) ]

[ Ish. She'd freaked the hell out of him a few times, more like, but if she's really left and come back without any memories, that gives him as much of an upper hand as he's ever going to have. ]

[ She knows the name. Fitz and Simmons, a pair of promising Agents in the Science department. They must have met when she was here before, because she doesn't remember meeting him back home. ]
