[ Skye's mostly watched the network, sending a few texts, but otherwise avoided people in any form since she woke up here. She's getting a little tired of ducking behind doors, though. It's like being back in her van and after being on the bus for so long, she's actually feeling lonely and claustrophobic at the idea. There has to be someone here with useful answers. ]

So is everyone here from Earth or what?

Anyone heard of SHIELD? Or HYDRA? I know someone who's really into Captain America. Is that a thing here? Is it too much of a leap to assume that you've heard of America at all?

Not everyone here is from Earth, but there's a fair amount of us who are. But we're not all from the SAME Earth. If we had Facebook here, we'd all be tagged with "It's Complicated."

But since you're namedropping Captain America, SHIELD, and HYDRA, I'm going to guess you and I are from the same - or at least a similar - version of Earth. Welcome aboard. This place sucks about exactly as much as you expect.

What cat? What bag? So far all I've managed to get out of this is that some people aren't from Earth, but some of them are still human and a few people have heard of SHIELD, but the rest of you seem to think I'm nuts.

Definitely not, and even if from Earth, not everybody is from the same time. And, as has been pointed out already, not necessarily the same Earth.

But check on SHIELD, HYDRA, Captain America, and I'm from Long Island. And one more who hasn't spent much on Earth recently.
