Let's play a game. "It's called What Do We Actually Know, and What Do We Want to Know About the USS Gigantitude?" Or as you all like to call it, Tranquility. Here's an example: + I KNOW that there are certain hallways that are off limits. - I WANT TO KNOW what's behind those locked doors. (and who's willing to break some rules with me to get those answers?) + I KNOW that a lot of us are from different places, and different times, and different ..worlds, apparently. - I WANT TO KNOW what we all have in common, so we can figure out why we're here. This giant boat is obviously picky, why did we make it to the final round? If I can't get home, then I wanna know why I'm here. Any ideas? No idiotic answers either, this is me trying to be serious for five minutes.

Rule breaking, yeah? That's something I'm very good at.

The only problem is that a lot of the rules aren't apparent until you've broken them. Nothing really happens, though. At least, I haven't been thrown in space orison for breaking and entering / trespassing yet.

Not yet. Just trying to see who might be interested in taking a few risks to get there, though. Not that I'm much of a team player, but this might be something better attacked with a small group. Maybe.

I think the first step in breaking the rules, is figuring out exactly what our limits are here. And the best way to do that? Push all the limits. See how far we can bend the rules before they snap and we get in trouble for it. I think that'll help us figure out what, or where, they're trying to keep us from.

Well, on the one hand, I'm wary about doors and what might be behind them... but on the other hand, I tend to be wary about rules. Count me in.

As for why we're here... I've heard everything, and I don't know what to think.

But there has to be a reason, something solid we can try and hold onto, make sense of. Then accomplish so we can get the hell home. Crap like this doesn't happen just because.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, the selection of people couldn't be more random. And as for why, if you should receive an answer to that, do share it with the rest of us. [She can probably tell that he's highly doubtful of her achieving any success whatsoever with that.]

I am assuming you know about the room with the red writing or have seen it yourself. I have not explored much other than that; I get lost easily and would rather not bother.

I am the human embodiment of the nation of Austria. There are other nations here but I am the only one who was taken from 1955. I had just gotten out of occupation before I woke up here. We lost the war and I initially assumed this was some sort of punishment or way of disposing of me if my government was dissolved and I was no longer needed. However the other nations present are from my future, and they have not mentioned such a thing and I appear to still be in existence over fifty years ahead.

My ex-wife was taken immediately from battle. She is the only other nation besides myself that was taken from a time of political unrest, so I am beginning to doubt this is a political matter.

Mhm, yeah, heard about that, not going near it myself. I was kinda just posting all this publicly to send out some feelers for what others have found out about our limitations on the ship and what's there past them. And yeah, that's... Wow. I mean, cool. I think. We're a lot more diverse than I thought, damn.

I'd be interested in knowing what's behind the door also.
