Really? I'm surprised to hear that since it seemed like quite a few people were aware of it. I was out on recon when it was going on and I don't want to throw anyone undeserving under the bus here, but SEC should at least be aware that this guy is using his magic like that.

No, someone convinced him to change them back after about a week, I was told. They're both fine as far as I know I'm just not a fan of rogue magic-users.

Of course not. God forbid we actually be able to deal with any issues rather than simply standing by. I'm getting damned tired of us taking the blame just because others have issues.

I know. I detest this, though. What if they don't want to get involved because they've been intimidated into silence? Or because someone has played on their emotions and sympathies?

They don't want us involved because they're used to handling their own business.
It's complicated.

Maybe this time. But other times? How easy it would be to just intimidate victims. Then if they make no report, no action can be taken. And we must abide by that, because to all of them, autonomy is more important than safety of the vulnerable, apparently.

We don't have to sacrifice one for the other.
