[ The video was just going to flicker for a few moments before finally settling on a proper image. The image cleared to show a corner of a room. By the look of it, it was properly one of the upper levels that did'nt get many visitors. It looks like someone had made there own version of a nest, one of the mattresses from the bunkers pressed into the corner. There was even some rubbish littered around the place. The owner had clearly made there own private home. The video where it rested as Peter flopped himself down in front of it. His hair longer and possibly more wild since the last time he'd appeared on the video. His shirt was crinkled but more or less clean enough considering how long the last jump was.

Peter stared at the screen for a few moments before speaking.]

...I'm going to need a favor.

[ There was a little sigh at that as Peter reached up and slipped his hand behind his ear.]

And I hate asking for favors.

I think that's what you say after you actually have me Stiles. Which, of course, you will be saying.

[ He wiggled his fingers a little before he laughed, his long hair falling in front of his face. Better his conversation then the one about him being a werewolf.]

[oh peter, you're fond of the blush, right? right? i certainly hope so because it is back full force. not just because of his own little verbal slip, but also peter's intimation of things to come.

but, you know, if you think he's letting go of the werewolf thing you are in for a surprise. he's mostly just holding it off for a private discussion in person.]

Well you're certainly sure of yourself.

I do have a lot of confidence for a guy who sleeps on the floor.

[ Peter mused, without a trace of irony as he chuckled lightly at the sight of that blush. Hey, he was starting to be fond of that reaction.

Hopefully it's not a private discussion you're going to have with the huge black dog Peter turns into it. So give it a few days.]

Derek was kind of full of himself back then too, maybe there's a correlation there. [no stiles it's because derek was high on alpha juice. ~~alpha juice wtf is that supposed to be what is wrong with my brain.~~

and no worries on that front, peter, stiles is kind of busy this jump with a newly bitten werewolf and he's kind of being limited to one life threatening event per jump so obviously he's all booked up this month.]

Is that you admitting to having a high school crush on Derek? [ Because that's what he's getting from that. It sounds a little more then "I admired his abs.".

[ Peter just shrugged into the camera at that look of disapproval. What? He's use to those sorts of looks.

Considering how wrecked Peter is going to be post-transformation. It could properly be the other way round. ]

The correlation between ego and sleeping on the floor, Peter. Nothing about crushes, ohmygod.

[you're the one that keeps bringing up derek's abs peter, just saying.

stiles can totally do that. he's going to be sitting on sally after her transformation after all. does peter want stiles to sit on him too?]

[ But it's clear from how quickly his smile turns into an actual laugh that's pushing Stile's buttons for the fun of it. Yeah. He's a total dick. Sorry.

Peter normally just sleeps and gets high after his transformations. Pretty sure they lack pot.]

And yet if I didn't protest you would take my silence as acquiescence, Peter, there's literally no way I can with this one is there?

[that's okay stiles is kind of a dick too.

and stiles doesn't need pot to sit on peter, he just needs to see that peter is sleepy and not at 100% and he will do it just to be a dick.]

[ Lies. He enjoys every moment. At least he's not someone from home, right?]

[it is true you are a most excellent distraction peter, bravo. well done.

stiles sucks on his lower lips and looks down, fingers fiddling with a bit of yarn tied around his pinkie, before looking up again through his lashes with a shy smile.]

I don't mind it, really.

[ Peter should show you his magic tricks sometime. Best distraction ever.

Peter just watches the other with a bite of his lower lip before giving a little soft chuckle. Stiles made him forget about his worries. The change. At least for a little while.]

In that case, I am sure after we...do anything. You'll have a story to tell.

[if it's magic tricks stiles would probably be the sort of stinker to try and figure out how the trick is done. if it's magic magic... well stiles is still going to want to know how it's done.

stiles laughs a little nervously and scratches the side of his neck.]

Honestly it wouldn't take much to be a better story than any of my other -uh- 'anythings'.

[ It's fake magic tricks. He's fairly sure any real magic the other would want to know is'nt the fun kind. Like breaking cat's necks and upirs. It's a whole thing.

Peter just smiles but he's still treading lightly with his words. Pushing this into humor more than any real emotional connection.]

So you're saying you're not a player back home?

I thought you'd be having a boy and a girl hanging off either arm.

[well stiles did a whole 'clap if you believe' sort of magic with mountain ash so if he ever gets some of that up here he could show peter a gentler kind of magic.

he screws up his face at the question and then holds up a hand to tick off the examples to peter.]

This may come as a shock to you, but I'm not exactly popular back home. My first kiss was with my childhood friend Heather, who got killed in a human sacrifice shortly after. My second was just a friend kissing me during a panic attack to try and get me to snap out of it. My third was -uh- CPR, so I'm not really sure if that counts.

[he waves the idea away and pushes on, still counting with one hand.]

Fourth was at a blacklight party with a girl that asked me if I liked boys and fifth and a little more--

[stiles puts up his thumb as the fifth finger and then wiggles it a bit to emphasize 'little more'] --was with a girl in the basement of a mental institution.

Who had punched me earlier in the day.

[and then he spreads his hands wide as if to say: you see?]

[ Real magic is'nt something he normally indulges in, that's more like Destiny's work. His cousin. He'll stick with the penny behind your ear sort of magic at the moment.

Peter tilted his head as he listened to Stiles list off his past experiences. His eyebrows going up and his lips parting for a moment before closing again. Letting Stiles ramble on.

Part of him was tempted to press a little further into the little more category before he let the conversation drop.]

Wow. I'm temped just to make out with you so you have a better list.

[ A homeless gypsy werewolf is'nt a better list.]

[stiles would roll his eyes like the disenchanted teenager he is at the penny trick, but he'd still laugh so honestly peter still wins.

he smiles a little self-deprecatingly and shrugs one shoulder.]

Like I said, it honestly wouldn't take much. Hobo chic digs and all.

Please, you know you're totally loving the hobo chic thing.

I'd show you were I'd live but then you'd know how to find me.

[ Peter just grinned over at his friend with a little drop of his head, shaking his head a little.]

[with a wide eyed, faux earnestness.] Oh, of course. I can't get enough of it, really. Ooh baby.

And please. If you think I need you to tell me where you are to find you, then you really don't know how good I am at solving mysteries.

Never become a porn-star. That was terrible.

All then, scooby. [ Peter glanced around his room before looking back at Stiles. Considering he was in a random room on an abandoned level. He would be very impressed if Stiles could find him.]

If you find me. I'll give you a kiss.

Oh well now you've just gone and stomped on all my hopes and dreams.

[stiles' light-hearted teasing expression shifts to something more focused and serious.]

Gonna make you eat your words, Peter.

Perhaps you need a better dream, if that's the case.

[ Peter's teasing just as much though, his hand dropping to play with his necklace as he stares over at that serious face Stiles.]

Oh yeah? Bring it Stilinski. You might even get two kisses.
