[ The video was just going to flicker for a few moments before finally settling on a proper image. The image cleared to show a corner of a room. By the look of it, it was properly one of the upper levels that did'nt get many visitors. It looks like someone had made there own version of a nest, one of the mattresses from the bunkers pressed into the corner. There was even some rubbish littered around the place. The owner had clearly made there own private home. The video where it rested as Peter flopped himself down in front of it. His hair longer and possibly more wild since the last time he'd appeared on the video. His shirt was crinkled but more or less clean enough considering how long the last jump was.

Peter stared at the screen for a few moments before speaking.]

...I'm going to need a favor.

[ There was a little sigh at that as Peter reached up and slipped his hand behind his ear.]

And I hate asking for favors.

Isaac. And I guess I shouldn't judge. At least there's a mattress involved and not the floor.

[ Strange is sort of relative when you're living on the SS. Horrorship. Peter was just going to tilt his head a little at the others words.]

The floor was my first option actually but "borrowing" the mattress worked out of me, as you can see. Just not a fan of sharing the bunks, old habits and all that. Gypsy's a'nt meant to stay in one place.

[ That and you breath a word of "our pack" and Peter's off like a rocket.]

So, what, do you swap rooms every jump or something? Is that what this is?

Sometimes I even go crazy and change floors.

[ There's a little bit of jazz hands at that before he shakes his head a little because, Peter's way too stubborn to ask Issac to help him move a mattress.]

My change is coming in a few days. I can feel it. And it hasn't happened the last few months. I thought being away from the moon-...That's not the point.

I need someone to..make sure I don't do anything too drastic. And trust me. I hate even mentioning this.

[peter what are you doing don't you know that hunters could be reading this. he throws up a lock first, doing his best to try and cover the whole conversation. he can't make people unhear it, but he can at least stop others from finding it later.]

The moon's still here. It's just different for everybody. There's no set day that we're stuck dealing with, which I guess is a good thing, considering the amount of wolves up here.

[dealing with one out of control werewolf at a time is more than enough.]

How, uh- How bad are you when you shift?

[ Whoops. He fucked up. Peter sighs a little bit of relief at the sign of that the network was locked. Evidently living away from everyone else had made him a bit forgetful.]

Everyone changing at the same time. That's got to be a hell of a sight.

[ He muttered as he sighed, shifting on his mattress for with a one shouldered shrug.]

I'm not a Vangulf, if that's what you're asking. At least - I don't think so. I don't how the change is for you but it's totally sucks for me. The last few months the wolf - [ He just tapped his chest at that, the wolf inside him.] Has been pretty quiet. Less so the last few hours. Basically I just need you there to make sure nothing terrible happens and possibly drag me back to my charming little hovel when I change back. It takes it out of me. [ There's a beat at that before he shakes his head.] Then again, regrowing your skin tends to do that.

So you literally turn in to a wolf then. [regrowing your skin. yeah, wolves from his world have it easy compared to the ones he's met here so far.]

I can keep watch if you want. But Derek might be better. Or Scott. [what with them both being far more experienced at this werewolf thing than him] They're stronger than me.

[a pause and-]

What's a Vargulf?

[ Broody Mcwerweolf properly already hates him. So what's the harm?]

The wolf is me. Twin souls. Dark side of the moon. That sort of thing. [ It's more like the wolf ripping it's self out of Peter. It's painful to watch as it was to feel. Well, maybe almost as painful] But yeah. Four legs and all.

Derek might do it. Never meet Scott, other then though Stiles tales. Not sure he's about to help out a total stranger. [ Though, the strength might help. If it comes down to it.

His head tilts at that last question. He keeps forgetting not everyone has the same terms. ]

Vargulf. It's... [ There's a pause there as his tongue flicks along his bottom lip as he tries to find the right word.] The wolf I turn into kills for food. Deer or rabbits. The Vargulfs are insane. It kills for the point of killing. Murder. Revenge. My grandfather...

Sometimes it just happens. Like a flick of a switch.

Scott would.

[help. but it's a distracted answer, his focus instead on the rest of what peter's said. on the idea of there being a distinction between werewolves and a vargulf. the closest he has for comparison is the alpha pack, and even they had an end goal in mind]

How much of you is still there when you shift? [is he still aware enough to know what he's doing] Would you listen to me?

And while I'm sure he's a stand up guy. I don't know him.

[ Which is the difference. He might not be apart of whatever crazy "Alpha/omega" rules Derek has going on, but at least he knows Derek. Trust is a hard thing to Peter.]

That's a hard question to answer. It's still me. Just..a different side of me. More primal. It likes to run and...it doesn't think the way we do. [ And if it's gone crazy...well, he's fairly sure screams to stop is'nt going to effect it.] I might. If it had a connection with you.

You should talk to him. He's a good guy.

[even setting aside the whole true alpha thing. scott's had his trust since long before he switched packs. he shrugs it off though, because that's really not the part he's meant to be focusing on. it's the shift that matters most.]

We used to use a storage container, but it kind of...I don't know. For me, it made the shift worse, so I use empty floors now. We could use one of the rooms for you to shift in, and if you have enough control after, you could get run of the floor. How's that sound?

I haven't even told Stiles that I'm a werewolf and I saved that guy from a burning building. I don't like strangers. Or really, other werewolves. No offense.

[ He added after a moment with a little press of lips. Peter's trust was a hard thing to get. It require persistence and not letting him shut it down or push you away. Peter strives to keep any ties he might have to anyone at arms length. The guys never had a real friend in his life.]

Locking me up would only piss it off. Which, trust me, I don't know how strong you guys are but the last Vargulf did'nt leave much of it's victims. Well, half of them anyway. The empty floors might be better. It's use to the woods and the ground under it's feet. All this metal...it's not going to be fun.

[ There's a pause at that as he stared at Issac for a few moments. He was'nt really ready to revel everything he needed to do about the change. About his secret name. That was the big red button that shouldn't be pushed.]

If things go south...And I...it takes a few people out. [ There was a little beat at that. He could almost hear the sound of an axe cutting though flesh in his minds eye.] When I change back, you have to cut off my head.

It's a tradition. No matter what I might say after. If I kill someone, that's what you have to do. [ It was a little more than that but Peter's still playing his hand pretty close to his chest when it comes to Derek's gang.]

[well that's something he's making a mental note of to ask about later. stiles, you have some explaining to do]

I'm not gonna let you hurt anyone.

[which is an unvoiced i'm not going to kill you. he knows what that fear feels like. knowing that the possibility of waking up in the middle of a bloodbath is a real concern. perhaps not to the same level as peter, of course. but it's still there at the back of his mind each time the full moon draws close.]

Look, it- You just need something to do, right? To be able to follow your instincts or whatever. So if it looks like you're gonna try to kill me, I'll get out of there. And if it doesn't, I'll find a way to keep you busy.

[ Guessing it's not about Stiles coming out earlier on the network earlier. Because that's something totally happened. Peter's bright green eyes just stare into the video at that for a few moments. Peter might not look it at times but he's smart enough to read though the lines of what the other said.

Maybe Derek would have been the better guy to confine in. He properly have less morals about cutting his head off. Maybe.]

Fine. Deal. It normally lasts from sunset to sunrise. But since we don't have a sun...

I'm not sure how it's going to react. I'm really starting to hate space. [ Peter sighed as he ducked his long stray hair behind his ear.]

[ The fire was fine. Peter saved him. Your welcome.]

If that's that asking price. I think I can manage that.
