PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 14:04
Kirk here with Re-L, Natasha, Roxanne and Balthier. We're on deck 200, so far so good. Will check back in fifteen. Kirk out.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 14:19
Still on Deck 200, and everything is still matching the maps. No sign of the missing. Kirk out.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 14:32
Nothing up here, we're doubling back to check the next floor. Kirk out.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 14:55
We might have a problem.
...We're lost , aren't we.
We haven't passed a door since our last transmission. We haven't found the lift. Proceeding with caution.
PUBLIC HAIL | FLAG TO KIRK | 15:16
Kirk, it's Natasha. We were following you around the corner when we somehow got split up. Is the rest of the team still with you? We're fine physically, but we can't tell where we are.
Make sure none of you lose sight of each other; these goddamn corridors keep shifting. If you can find any sort of meeting point, we'll try to catch up once we find a defining marker. Otherwise, assume we're all right and we'll keep in touch. We'll try to find our way back to the passenger's quarters.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 15:43
Kirk here, we've lost Natasha and Re-l. They weren't far from us, but they've- well, vanished. I can't tell what's causing the distortion, there was no evidence of a barrier being crossed.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 15:59
We've located a door. It says... "Open me".
If there isn't a bit of treasure in there, perhaps it might be in our best interest not to go in.
It's the only potential exit we have right now.
This is why I hate space. No good exits anywhere.
I say we open it - it really might be our only way out and really, isn't everyone a little curious?
Nope. The last time I opened a door, I fought a long dead god. Nope. I'm not touching that door
Balthier, how do you get in and out of your room without opening the door?
The question, my dear, is not how I get in or out of my room without a door. The question is, how do you find your way in?
....In your dreams, honey.
Guys.
PUBLIC HAIL | FLAG TO KIRK | 16:00
Kirk, Natasha and Re-l again. We've just found a door with a message scrawled on it in red paint. Are you seeing anything like this?
[Uneasily:] It has a face on it, just like the other door...
[ to re-l: ] What do you think we should do? Exploring the corridors isn't exactly getting us anywhere.
[a pause] ...We could look inside. Or one of us can, and the other can stand by the door. [A beat] Though, that sounds fairly suicidal, if this ship has taught us anything.
I'm armed, I'll go in. [ a beat of her own. ] If I'm not out in five, try to find the rest of the group.
PUBLIC HAIL TO HOME BASE | 16:05
We're heading in.
[almost immediately, as he crosses the threshold static leaps to life on his communicator.]
