_{[ Waking up in blue goop and being told what to do and where to in a strange place that wasn't her era at all wasn't the best experience for this disoriented soldier. She was struggling to keep her balance and there was already so much to see and do.
Hange thought she was still having a very realistic dream. Her profound thoughts gather in the shower (which was also a very, VERY, cool thing) as she regains a little more consciousness. She doesn't straight up use the funny looking device she was given, but instead decide to explore her surroundings and take in as much as she can— even get acquainted with a few people. Her first initial report is through this fascinating texting feature that she doesn't really understand how to use. Therefore, there are several errors and lack of enthusiasm in her message. Yeah. Er--I think so. I didn't ask everyone, but I know it's happened to a few people at the same time. And I bet it's happened to everybody at one point or another.

I think sometimes it depends on where you are.

Like when you put your hand under water— it's an obstacle that isn't allowing the free flow of particles. Could be something as simple as one of these many walls or maybe even some other stronger force.
I wonder if that has something to do with it.

What's the "Scouting Legion"?

I'm from a variation of Earth. It probably isn't the same one you are from.
It is a branch of the military where I am from.

Our primary focus is to go on expeditions to combat and gather information about and against titans.

[He thought the "legion" part sounded a little ominous.]

What the hell's a titan?

[It sounds a bit familiar, probably from one of those old mythology books Luck used to like.]

They are our misunderstood enemies. They vary in many different sizes and have the incredible ability to appear in thin air. 3 meters, 7 meters, 15 meters, even the large 60 meter titan. They're feather light, and have various— adorable and grotesque faces. Some have personalities, some don't—

They eat us.
They have eaten almost all of us.

Because they can. Their energy is derived amazingly by sunlight. They eat because it is fun. It's their enjoyment.

I'd prefer not to, _{[ even though they eat her comrades ]} but that's our only choice for now until we learn more. To truly find out if they are friend or foe or something else.
That is why I want to learn more.

We have found many hypothesis to be true recently, but there are still many things we don't understand.

You don't know hardly anything about them, so you can't judge. Yes, the fact that they have eaten nearly all of us— anybody could see black and white, but there are so many gray areas, we are unsure of everything ta this point.
