Alright. Seems a little late to be using this, but better now than never.

[She brushes some of her hair behind her ear and takes a deep breath before continuing.]

Hi. [She gives a small shrug and a wave.] I'm Lieutenant Abigail Mills and I'm from Sleepy Hollow, New York. Call me Abbie if you want. Right now though, I'm currently with the SEC that's been established aboard here. I may not have any crazy powers or special abilities, being human and all, but I'd like to think I'm more than dependable when it comes to security matters.

Formal introductions aside, I gotta ask about the things people are seeing in the mirrors and about the people who were dreaming in their pods. I'm hearing things about beasts and warped edges and frankly, I'm more than a little concerned.

[There's a pause before she hesitantly adds:]

I've been there before, believe me. And that was before I woke up and found myself in space. There has to be a purpose and meaning behind them.

[She's not too happy about having to use the whole name, but she knows "S.H.I.E.L.D." mightn't mean anything, and there's no point tacking a location on, since they seldom acknowledge jurisdiction. Her willingness to defer to the woman's prior experience sounds out in her question.]

How is this similar to what you've investigated before?

[That is a long name of an organization Abbie definitely has never heard of before. Yikes. But this Melinda May seems to mean business and that's why Abbie made a broadcast to the network after all.]

On my side of the universe, monsters are rather tricky. They show up when they want to and only to the people they choose to show themselves to.

If you're worried about your mirrors, cover them with a sheet or cardboard or something, or put them face down on the floor. Just as long as they're not reflecting anything. Don't smash them. Smashing a mirror just makes lots and lots of tiny little mirrors. Bad idea. Also, bad luck, but from what I understand that's basically the least of anybody's worries right now.

Grain of salt, uh, I just got here, and basically everyone has been telling me I'm an idiot that doesn't know what I'm talking about, so. Feel free to not listen to me if you want, whatever.
